The owner and staff are very friendly!
They play classic diner music inside. The food was awesome and delicious. The Philly Cheesesteak is the bomb! I’m a local, and I’ve eaten there 3 times this week. They have an awesome lunch special right now, and it’s super affordable!
Wish I could rate higher than 5 stars. I’m definitely going to eat here as often as I can!

Delightfully pleased I stopped at this roadside 50’s Burger place . It was empty at 4:30 but I was greeted and seated by the well known Hector and treated like a queen. The strawberry shake was more smoothie like but no less delicious. Burger came with all the fixings and I didnt have to ask for anything. Fries were heavily crisp and not heavy or too greasy . The place was decorated so nicely and they even had 1950s music playing . Will come back again and bring a crowd to enjoy it. They need a big sign facing traffic with a giant cheeseburger on it to get people to slow down and come in a try all the great items on the menu.

The service was so great, everyone was so nice. Got the Philly cheesesteak and my son got thr HWY 53 burger. Both were really good. We will be coming back to try more things on their menu.

Love the atmosphere, and the overall look of the place. Fast service, however the server did not speak much at all and seemed ignorant. Got a Burger, Ruben, and onion rings. Onion rings were fried in old oil for sure. And batter inside was not cooked all the way. My Ruben also was a little skimpy on the meat side. Burger patties we obviously frozen, however the toppings seemed very fresh! Overall I good vibe, but would not recommend as a must stop at place.

This place is amazing! It gives you that old timey diner feel with excellent food for good prices. The wings bone in and boneless were exactly what we were wanting!

We stopped by chance because the poster in the window was a photo of a 50’s drive in server. The music playing is 50s and early 60s, a nice touch. My wife had the bacon cheeseburger, I had fish and chips. Both were excellent. A family owned and managed business. Highly recommend. We will return.

Food exceeded expectations. Owner was very nice and attentive to customers. Sandwich was very fresh and tasted great. Sauce had a lot of flavor. Boneless Wings were fresh, not frozen. Generous size portions. Onion rings were nice and thick the old fashion style. Atmosphere was classic diner including the music. Definitely would go back again.

This new restaurant is the best food and service in McCaysville, GA. We ate there today, and the Ruben was great. The Philly was great, and the tatertots were seasoned and cooked to perfection. The service was also spot on. We received everything correctly, and the server was very nice and quick. 100% recommended.

Okay, back the bus up! Are you looking for quality food at a quality price, look no further. The moment you walk in you are transported to what seems like a 50s style milkshake bar. Hector and his brother Jose are both always there and such good dudes. If I was in town every day, I’d eat there every day.
If you’re like me and you want to find a super good local spot to hit throughout the week, your search can end. Stop on by hwy 53 (sorry I didn’t stop by today Hector/Jose)

We came from Houston Texas to stay in a mountain cabin in the area. We were lucky enough to stumble upon Highway 53 because everything else was closed on a Tuesday. The food was absolutely excellent, it came out really quick, and the owner is a really great dude. If we are ever in the area again, we will make a point to stop here. Classic American diner food.
