It is exactly what it’s supposed to be, a deli with chips and candy. I never ordered any sandwiches or hot food. I just go in to grab something real quick. The service is polite and the selection is quite great. For like 2.5 decades I always intend on going to try something hot, but I’m always just in a hurry to grab a drink, chips or breath mints.

I hate writing 1 star reviews but my goodness. I’ve lived in North Arlington for a few years now and never visited the deli. So when it popped up on DoorDash I decided to do a pick up order. I was surprised with how large the menu was. However, that’s the only compliment I can give because I think the large menu overwhelms the staff (1 person working). I was excited to order the waffle, but they called and said they didn’t have it so they issued me a refund. I also ordered the turkey sub and it was missing ingredients (there were no onions, oil, vinegar) the sandwich was dry. The beef empanada was cold when I received it and looked nothing like the picture on their DoorDash page. I received the notice that my order was ready for pickup and when I got there it wasn’t. The lady thought I was a DoorDash driver instead of the customer picking up my order. Very disappointed with my whole experience and won’t be back.

I ordered a sandwich on Good Friday in the afternoon and told the girl my order for her to not get it right even after I repeated myself 3 times. I mean it’s really not that hard to just put turkey, ham and Swiss with some lettuce and condiments but I only got ham and cheese, and more then likely charged full price for something I didn’t even receive. To make it worse, it wasn’t even busy. I guess if I want a sandwich done right, gotta go somewhere else.

So glad to have Wally and his family back. It just wasn’t the same without him. The store is back to it’s original greatness if not better. The food is fresh and delicious, so glad to have them back. The store is clean and the shelves are fully stocked and dust free, unlike before with the previous owner. Wally and his son truly are a staple within this community. Everyone is family. So glad they’re back!

Disappointed, the Rueben I ordered was made for a child, but they tried to charge me a $1 more per sandwich even though the menu doesn’t have any sign about “student prices” Customers beware and pay attention to the prices when they ring up your order!

It boasts shrimp, chicken or beef platters with rice, but there’s only one guy working. Two guys entered and exited without a purchase right before me. I saw how deserted it was so I bought a bottle of water and left. Paid a $.50 credit card fee since my purchase was under $5.

Ok, so I just received my order from this place via Uber eats. I ordered a North Arlington Wrap and a Buffalo Chicken Wrap. First off, I have no idea what sandwich they gave us, but it definitely wasn’t a wrap and definitely not the North Arlington wrap. There’s barely and meat on it either lol not worth 7.99. The Buffalo chicken sandwich. Terrible. Tastes like it was left out in the Sahara sun. Never coming back. Money wasted
