Came to the Hyatt for a convention and went to Perks for a quick lunch break. Saw the Cuban sandwich option for $12 and it sounded like a great option. I received the sandwich and after unraveling the layers of foil, it was a disappointing size for $12. More like a half or less of a sandwich. Might have been not even worth a $6 sandwich. The bread was hard and minimal filling. Even the airport food places don’t treat you like this.

Saw the “We Proudly Serve Starbucks” sign and thought they took a Starbucks giftcard. This is because I not only saw the sign, but a digital menu with Starbucks-branded signage that listed the prices. I was told “No” in the most offended way possible by one of the staff.
No effort to explain that the Hilton across the street is a licensed store and can take the card. Just looked at me as if I were less than a person. Gee, thanks – jerk.

Overpriced hotel cafe. I stopped by on a Saturday morning while on a stroll on the Des Plaines River Trail that is half a block away. Large drip coffee and a pre-made breakfast sandwich was $15 with tax. That’s more than Starbucks. Won’t ever be back.

Coffee was really good! They were really nice during the busy convention.
When we went to get another coffee the next day, the gentleman at the counter was very rude for no reason!!
I asked for 2 caramel macchiatos…. I guess he misunderstood me and only gave me 1. When I asked where the other one is he YELLED at me saying I only asked for one. It was unnecessary and I’ve spent a lot of money at this hotel this weekend as well as the coffee shop (Anime convention with 4 teenagers) I don’t feel like a simple misunderstanding should have resulted in such an emotional manner.
Will definitely come back to the hotel. But will pass on the unnamed Starbucks coffee and support a shop that has much better customer service.

Employees were friendly, only thing was that nothing in here is priced which made it a guessing game for expense purchases. It would be nice to have digital pricing if they don’t want to label each item. Other than that, it was nice that they are open late and had a good variety of items.

The store is conviently located directly inside the Hyatt. The prices are high – as expected being in a hotel. Sad news is that the prices aren’t indicated so you don’t know how much things are until you get to the register. I went to this place multiples times and they asked for a tip to put my items in a bag everytime. Ugh.

I have always said that service with a smile makes the coffee taste better. Nice little spot based inside the Hyatt O’Hare. Got freshly made hot sandwiches at 2 am (after American Airlines cancelled our flight without a real explanation, just many contradictory statements but THAT is a story for another day. I need a few pages to rant about AA and their complete lack of professionalism). Back to Perk: I’d go back again for sure. There’s options of hot and cold snacks, vegetarian, healthy options and Starbucks coffee

Better than average coffee shop right inside hotel lobby, with decent selection pastries sandwiches etc + beer/wine/juice etc. Good espresso not avail at the breakfast buffet. Great service.

Disgusting price gouging. I purchased a Hint water here three different times at $3.73 on several different days, which alone is ridiculous. But then on my final day it miraculously went up to $5.01 and everyone was confused and claimed it had to have been $5.01 every time and I was a moron. My “Starbucks” coffee also was a $1.64 more the same day.
