I love the paper plate car that they used for kids meal, but food is not good and service is slow and poor service, the waitress ( she said she’s from Boston) forgot to give our drinks and only gave my husband half of cheesesteak when we clearly ordered whole! Which resulted in another wait, also, there was flies flying inside the restaurant. The only delicious food was the onion rings and their own sauce.

This is NOT a hwy 55. The prices are not the same. Service is not the same the whole atmosphere is not the same. I love hwy 55 stopped here one day while in Clinton and never again I’ll drive the distance to an actual hwy 55. This place should be far be listed or compared to a hwy 55. It is Andy’s and only an Andy’s. U will find this out if u waste your time like we did.

The place was dirty a bunch of tables without cleaning and leftovers. I was there for 15 minutes. it’s sad when good places go down in service and cleanliness. I get it is not the employees but the management. You can’t fallow without leadership.

So I called to place an order that would have been $15+ before the drink and I requested an Orange Aid. She then went on to tell me that they are out of the medium cup but they do have large cups for a $1.50 more but she could use the kids cups. WTW why would you ask me to pay a $1.50 more because you are out of cups. Make that makes sense… When I asked her that question she could not seem to comprehend the scenario.

This is a great place to eat! We enjoyed our food and have made it like a family ritual to come at least once a month if not twice! They are starting to catch on to who we are and what we order. The waitress are decent to us every time

This is a really cool HWY 55 set inside of an old train station. The food and orangeade was perfect! My waitress was attentive, and did a good job. My only suggestion would be to train the employees in the “Andy’s culture” as I wasn’t greeted or thanked as leaving. Also would suggest checking tables and sweeping in the downtime.
Just a follow up, we tried to come here again with the family. Once again the food was great other than I had to retrieve my own bacon for the burger. However the service was so bad I had all intentions of calling the owner but just been too busy to do so. The server there (girl with long braids) is a disgrace to the Andy’s/HWY 55 name. We ordered milk shakes and she said they didn’t have an ice cream, however as we were finishing our meal we seen another server making shakes! Also she was supposed to be my server the first time I came above and never came to the table. This time we observed her do the same to another family who looked a lot like us (maybe a coincidence but I don’t think so…..) hopefully owner/manager reads this review and handles the situation as the food is great there.

I love this place one of the best Coney Islands with some amazing food great prices really old fashioned and very popular. It is a must visit if you ever near one definitely have to try out their milkshakes and the one here in Clinton is no exception great customer service great times awesome food.
