Delicious tacos for a great price.
First time I went, I got the chicken, pastor, chorizo, and asada tacos. Asada and chorizo knocked it out of the park! Pastor was a bit too fatty for my liking, and the chicken was kind of dry.
Next time I went I got the orden especial de alambre with carne asada, and it was amazing as well (pictured). They gave me like 10 tortillas which was awesome. Crazy deal for $15

the food was delicious and the service was great 🙂 i was worried about waiting in the cold for my food and not being able to go back to my car, but they had a buzzer i could take with me so i could stay warm and comfortable while waiting for my food. the portion sizes are wonderful and great for the price. I’ll definitely be coming back soon !!

Their gringas are outstanding, as well as their tacos and burritos. Carne asada and al pastor are both excellent. Best in Madison!

The tacos al pastor were delicious as were the gringas! The salsas were tasty and the service was extremely friendly (and patient with my Spanish) and quick! Hope to be back soon next time I am in Madison! Thank you very much!

This is hands-down the best tacos in Madison. I am a regular at this point, and I find myself craving these tacos even when I travel out West. You simply can’t go wrong getting their tacos or tostadas.

La Fogata makes some wildly delicious Al Pastor tacos, directly from the spit!! Very nice people and the food is so worth it. 3 amazing tacos for $9?! You cannot beat that.

Ordered 4 steak tacos and they were fresh and phenomenal! The steak meat gave more of a crispy chorizo kind of texture which is something I’ve never had before! Included was a sliced baked potato which was unique to their taco truck and also delicious.
