Very clean and organized for such a busy place. $1.89 per dumpling was steep for me as I was hoping to spend less than $10 for 6 har gow.
As for the dumplings, much less shrimp than I was expecting and pretty small. I wasn’t blown away. I will come here again but only when I’m not very hungry.

I’ve been coming here for years and it’s a great spot for quick and delicious chinese food. They also excepts cash only with very limited space. Timing is everything for eating here without a wait in line or difficulties with parking. I came early in the morning and was able to walk right in and park right in front on the business.

This place is amazing, expect a line and is cash only. This place came highly recommended and I fully agree.

I was super excited to try their food because of the reviews and the line. When I got my food, it tasted extremely dry and bland. I got two different chicken, entrées, and chow mein. The portion for Chicken was very small even though I got a bigger size. Chicken was extremely dry. I also got dim sum, which was just OK and the most disappointing was the bbq bao. It was actually the main reason but very disappointing. Very plain, a lot of bread and not much filling. The filling itself lacked a lot of flavor.

Local Chinese food market vibe. Great service. And VERY delicious and affordable pastries. Strongly recommend. I loved the Taro pineapple bun and cant believe they sell 5 small pine apple buns for less than $4!!! We got 7 pastries for less than $10!

Update: I come here almost every month! I love this place. Food is delish and so affordable.
Every trip coming to Oakland, this is a stop I have to make. The food is delicious, the amount of food you get for the price is huge! It goes by weight but so totally worth it. They have a bunch of different Asian treats/pastry. Love love love the food. You’ll just have to see the pictures.
This is located in China town, the only thing I don’t like is whenever I go here is always homeless people begging for money and food and the smell outside is not pretty.

Greasy, well seasoned deliciousness in big portions! (Small portions pictured below). Really enjoyed the rice rolls especially. They were bland by themselves and delicious when dipped in gravy.

Inexpensive place to get expensive tasting food. Love the mixed vegetables, with green beans carrots tofu onions and mushrooms. They make a delicious fried chicken from dark meat. It’s kind of like grown-up chicken nuggets. Also enjoy the chow mein, chow fun and really good dim sum. One of the other stars of the show are the baked barbecue pork buns.

Grabbed some rice noodles and turnip cakes for breakfast. I was traveling for work and wanted something familiar. So good and homey! Everything was fresh, the food was still steaming when they plucked it from the display case. There was a small line even at 8am, but definitely worth it!

Popular place for takeout Cantonese food and dim sum. There really isn’t anything in the way of dine in, the place is usually packed with people in line to select, pay for and receive their to-go food. Although speaking Cantonese or Mandarin is typical here, gesturing with some English words to indicate what you want will work as well.
