You looking for a hole in the wall Mexican joint? You know the one that may look a bit rough but has the BEST FOOD? This is it! I live in NC and anytime I come to SC to see family eating here IS AN ABSOLUTE MUST!! It is my favorite joint and if they were in NC I would be a regular. You order from the window, can pay cash or card, pick your toppings from the topping bar and then find a seat in the cafeteria like setting. Nothing fancy but the food is the main attraction. The Mercado (grocery store) has regular hours but the restaurant portion is only open on weekends. I always get the Al Pastor Tortas but everything else is delicious too. Try it and I promise you won’t regret it.

Cake was nothing like what i ordered. Refuses to take orders over the phone so very limited on what you can even order to only get nothing that you ordered. Looked so terrible refused to refund my money to go elsewhere with their awful just down right ugly cake there were scrapes all in the icing and who knows what it says cause it sure didnt say feliz cumpleaños will never order here again .

Store: first of all, they don’t show the pricing for most of their products which means that they can charge you anything they want to charge you. And they really do inflate the prices in comparison to other Mexican stores! That should be illegal if it isn’t already. Second of all, HORRIBLE customer service. The cashier ladies have the nastiest attitude and they act like they’re doing you a favor. Third of all, it’s super dirty. I stopped shopping here years ago for the reasons mentioned, but had to stop here foran emergency run, and looks like nothing has changed. You’re better off going to”La Unica” or “El Rey”.

It is one of the best kept secrets of Mexican food in Spartanburg!! 5 stars for their food and low prices! I bought tacos a few weeks ago and even my son’s friend, who does not frequently eat Mexican food, loved it! I usually see a variety of people of different backgrounds eating there. My only complaint is that it is small and feels somewhat crowded. I also like to buy some produce there. They have limited options, but it’s cheaper and better quality than my grocery store.
