Great experience here. I liked the open concept kitchen style they had going on. I’ve always been curious to see how these kitchens operate. Too bad I wasn’t seated somewhere with a view. The service was prompt but polite. Typical of most vietnamese places. My meal was delicious. Sate salad rolls were perfect and priced fairly, the sate soup also hit the spot nicely. It’s a variation that I haven’t had before as it was chok full of coconut milk. It could have used more spice to balance out the creaminess but it was still very enjoyable and again priced fairly for the portion. I guess my only gripe is the Vietnamese iced coffee. I don’t like it pre poured and on ice ready to drink. I get why they did it this way in order to speed things up but you lose some of that boldness and that kick that freshly brewed Vietnamese coffee is known for. Need to have that stainless steel drip pot going on. It’s worth the wait.

We stopped by for dinner. Ordered wonton soup and a rice dish. The rice dish was a huge portion with grill pork and other sides and plenty of rice. The wonton soup was very delicious and the soup base was really good.

I was afraid the soup might be too salty as after taste but it was ok and it didn’t leave an after taste saltiness.

The dining area has lots of seatings, booths or tables. The staffs were very friendly and courteous.

Recommend this place if you were in the area and looking for a plate to eat.

I was really looking forward to their soup as I have had it in their restaurant in the past. Unfortunately, I was pretty disappointed to discover that my takeout order didn’t include Thai basil. For me, Thai basil is important to a great bowl of pho. Without it, the soup felt flat and lacking that fresh flavour.

When I called to ask about it, I was told that Thai basil is only provided when you dine in, not with takeout. How would customers know that ahead of time? Thai basil is such a standard garnish for pho that it feels strange to exclude it from takeout orders without mentioning it.

The spring rolls we ordered were excellent. The salad rolls were a bit fishy and the lettuce was not great. If the basil situation were different, my overall rating would have been higher. I really hope they reconsider this because with the proper garnishes, the pho could be so much better.

Our go-to place when we crave Vietnamese Cuisine. Staff are friendly and serving is quick. Dining area is bright and clean. I recommend their Pho as well as their Vietnamese Subs and Vermicelli Bowls. My personal favourite is the Vermicelli Bowl No. 38, which is chock-full of ingredients that will surely satisfy a hungry person. Parking not a problem. Highly recommended!

One of the best Vietnamese restaurants we’ve tried! I prefer their friendly customer service than East Lake Pho. This place serves so quickly. ❤️❤️❤️ As for their food—oh my, it was amazing! Their banh mi is definitely fresher than other Vietnamese restaurants we’ve tried in town. I ordered the vermicelli with shrimp, beef, spring rolls, and sausage, and it was incredibly delicious and worth the price! My boyfriend ordered the sauté beef sub, and he was amazed by the softness of the banh mi! I love their atmosphere too!! We’ll definitely be back again!

I’ve been coming here a lot — a friend from work first took me for lunch once, and ever since, we’ve been going back every two weeks for their soup (#27). It is seriously the best!

The service is always great too. The staff are friendly and do a fantastic job of keeping us happy, even when we bring half the office with us.
