Our server was very nice (I think he was also the owner) and recommend the chicken pesto special of the day so I ordered that. The restaurant was clean and inviting.
We got the Saganaki and it was flaming and delicious! Everyone enjoyed it from my girls 9&11 to my mom. My husband ordered the Italian job pizza and a Greek side salad. He said the salad was good and the pizza was flavorful and tasted great. My chicken pesto sandwich was also delightful. I liked the cheese and pesto with red peppers and the chicken was cut up into pieces rather than being a big chunk.
My mom got a salad and a gyro and she liked them. My girls got ziti noodles with Alfredo and cheese tortellini with pesto. Both were quite tasty.
Overall, it was a great spot for a quick lunch. We were able to sit quickly even with a party of 5 and all the food came out steaming hot and tasted great. Since I live out of town now, I’ll have to put it on my list of good places to eat when we come back to visit.

Fournos is a truly cozy spot — a warm, welcoming little Greek home in San Leandro and a real gem for delicious pizza and gyros. I ordered the Gardener (Housemade) Pizza and loved every bite: bright house-made sauce, perfectly balanced veggies — mushrooms, black olives, roasted red peppers, red onions, sliced tomatoes, artichoke hearts and garlic — all under a generous layer of Grande cheese. The crust was just right (not too thin, not too thick) and the ingredients tasted incredibly fresh. I’ve also heard good things about their tiramisu — that’ll be my next visit.

Food was great. Greek and Italian. Same family that used to run Luke’s Grill in SL runs this new place. Ted, Luke and the staff were great. The place is small but also has a bar area. Happy hour with low drinks and appetizers pricing.

We were sad when Rubiano’s went away, but grateful the space was filled by another restaurant. We could use more GOOD restaurants in the area. This has a similar vibe to Rubiano’s. It’s got a nice selection of dishes, and it’s all pretty family-friendly. My husband and I went there for lunch and are looking forward to bringing our kids for a meal soon. We had a stromboli and the gyro pita. Both were great. They don’t have a signature hot sauce like they do at some other places, but Tabasco is always fine.

What a beautiful place! I decided to try their Custom Stromboli and Greek Salad, and wow absolute perfection. I was genuinely amazed by how delicious everything was. The service was excellent, and the staff were incredibly friendly. This family-owned spot opened just a few weeks ago, and they did not disappoint. I’ll definitely be back for more.

Been coming here since 2017 and Fuornos makes a delicious Italian Job pizza! Order any of the salads, too – all served with excellent house-made dressings. Very friendly Family and Staff – ask for Effie, Jenny and Melissa! If its busy, they will comp your wine 😉 The Romaine Bleu Cheese Bacon Tomato salad is soo good. I am looking forward to the Tiramisu, Stromboli, Avgolomeno Soup and Gyros on my next visit to Fuornos – Welcome to the neighborhood

Charming local bar & grill. Vibe is definitely casual but the food is worthy of “nice restaurant” status. Slightly odd fusion… Is it Greek? Or Italian? Oh, it’s Mediterranean! There was a crowd at the bar having LOTS of fun, and when they left, it was pretty quiet. I reckon you might get either.

This place was rubianos a great place to get beer and slices for any sports game. But now its fournos and its better and consistent. Before the wings became burn when it was rubianos, but now this is the 3rd time coming here and its not burn and is delicious. Same atmosphere as the last business but more organized. Food came fast enough and taste is consistent. Try the gyro its good for 10$, but if you want fries it’s 3$ more. I’m am advocate of small business and this is good to invest your money too. Good pizza, good company, and beers are good. If you can’t find a place to watch your favorite sports this is the place and they do slices too.
