Went to CasaTua for thanksgiving week with family, we had a reservation for it. Everything was great. Burrata is a must for the table as appetizer. I ordered my usual Aperol Spritz and had Cacio e Pepe as my main. One of my favorites places in Aspen to have dinner

The customer service was warm and friendly, everyone was so nice. The food was absolutely amazing including the desserts! The atmosphere was lovely, and sitting outside made it the perfect experience.

Must-do date night spot during your Aspen stay! Romantic atmosphere, impeccable service… you blink and your food has arrived. They go the extra mile to make the experience special… Espresso martini was one of the best I’ve ever had. Love!

For what’s it’s worth I’m from NJ/NYC and can confidently say this Italian spot holds a candle.

I realize I am an outlier here giving a five star when it mostly has an average 4.1 rating, and I only had one dish, but it was the Pollo Piri Piri, and I have to admit it was delicious—the chicken was tender, the roasted potatoes cooked to perfection, and even though I didn’t like the sauce that came with it (because it reminded me too much of Sriracha), the sauce was off to the side and therefore didn’t ruin the dish and quite frankly I know most people like the Sriracha flavor.
Their bread with olive oil and olive tapenade was yummy.
Service from Stephan R. at the bar was attentive.

Food was great, well seasoned and decent portion sizes. The service was a little odd, when I asked our server what is in each dish(its all in Italian, and we didnt understand it) she kinda gave 2 word answers like “its pasta” or “thats a steak” wasn’t very helpful at all. We had to google our dinner. I asked for an iced tea while the other girls ordered cocktails (being DD) and never asked if I wanted a refill while other got multiple cocktails.
Overall it was a mediocre experience. Would i ho back? Maybe to get my food to go but thats it.

Casa Tua is such a great ambience. Service is 10/10! Their portions are actually very sizable! I would try their calamari and pistachio gelato (the gelato is good for like 4 people) The complimentary bread basket comes with an olive dip, sooo good!

I’ve been going to Casa Tua’s multiple locations for a long time, and it has become an anniversary tradition for me and my boyfriend to go to the Miami location. This year however we decided to have our anniversary dinner in Aspen instead.

One thing that we found off-putting was that when we asked the hostess if she could take our coats, she took mine but refused to take my boyfriends for some reason. Secondly, as I’ve mentioned, we’ve had many anniversary dinners at Casa Tua Miami and their attention to detail is always on point— rose petals scattered on the table, a “happy anniversary” message with our desert; these were all lacking during our Aspen visit.

That being said the food was excellent as expected. Drinks were good as well; I enjoyed their special Casa Tua gin and tonic. The pasta was perfectly cooked and you can tell it’s homemade. The beef tenderloin with foie gras is one of my favorites, I order it every time; while it was excellent and perfectly medium-rare as well, I did notice that the sauce was broken.

Coats aside, the service was generally good but nothing special. Our waiter was very polite but at times it did feel like we were being rushed.

The space is not as cozy as the Miami location, which is to be expected as the Miami is the original “casa” , but the decor is very chic. The atmosphere might’ve been perfect if the dress code was enforced… (hoodies, baseball caps, etc.)

Overall, we enjoyed our dinner. Though for a nice restaurant with a high price tag, I would expect more as the restaurant holds sentimental value to me and I have experienced better.

Casa Tua is quietly firing on all cylinders right now. Same intimate, late-night Aspen energy, but noticeably smoother across the board. Food is on point, pacing is dialed, and the service feels relaxed, confident, and genuinely hospitable.

You can tell the restaurant is being run by someone who understands both the food and the people. Staff seems supported, nothing feels forced, and the experience just flows the way it should.

If you know, you know—Casa Tua is in a really good place right now.

I don’t give restaurant reviews often…because the experience these days just doesn’t measure up…most of the time. Well, Casa Tua is an exception! The eggplant was the best I have ever had. The pasta seemed homemade, thick and cooked perfectly. The prime beef was beautifully seared. Slicing it was interesting and maybe allowed it to cool to quickly. My wife and daughter loved their gin drinks and my Old Fashion was classic and tasty. Service was spot on and spotting Justin Bieber in the corner was a goof.

Casa Tua Aspen never misses. As a local who was just recently in Rome, I can confidently say the food here is truly top notch—authentic, refined, and full of soul. The pistachio ice cream in particular took me straight back to Italy… honestly Rome-level good.
What really elevated the night was the service—Bobby from Macedonia was exceptional. Warm, attentive, and genuinely made my friends and I feel taken care of without ever hovering. This is the kind of place that delivers both world-class food and world-class hospitality. Can’t wait to be back.
