We started our meal with the meatballs as an appetizer. The meatballs themselves were well seasoned and flavorful; however, the cheese was not fully melted, which took away from the overall presentation and texture.

I ordered a build-your-own calzone with red peppers, green chili, roasted garlic, and pepperoni. When the calzone was initially served, the interior was very cold. I requested that it be warmed, and while it was returned promptly, it appeared to have been reheated in a microwave. This caused the crust to lose its crispness and become chewy. Additionally, the toppings did not match the order—green peppers were substituted for green chili, and there was no noticeable roasted garlic included.

My spouse ordered a build-your-own calzone with pepperoni, Italian sausage, jalapeños, and green chilis. The flavors were good and well balanced, though the calzone was noticeably greasy.

On a positive note, our waitress was attentive, friendly, and responsive throughout the meal, which we appreciated.

Another great reason to visit Westcliffe, Silvercliff… Tony’s Pizza. Yes, it tastes as good as it looks. They have 7-8 pizza sauce choices. We’ll be back.

Edit: Last time we were in town, we stopped at this place again. This time we DID try the pizza, because neither of the things we liked from last time was in the menu anymore. The pizza was good, so no reason to change the review. However, my previous ranking review no longer applies since that menu item is gone.

Original review: Didn’t feel like pizza, so we each tried something different. My Baked Spaghetti with Meatballs was AMAZING, and my wife loved her Mediterranean Pasta (although the waitress did mention that this dish was leaving the menu soon). Portions were more than generous. Meatballs had an almost cheesy texture to them, very good! Cheese topping was ample. Would highly recommend!

It’s unfortunate that I feel I have to do this. As I really like the atmosphere and service here.
The food is TERRIBLE. And cheap but expensive….
The pizza we ordered had a decent crust and the cheapest uncooked sauce with (again) cheap mozzarella. The salad was ok with iceberg lettuce but the rest of it and dressing was just cheap premade junk.
The boneless wings were like buffalo chicken nuggets.
My kids insist on going here every time we pass Thru westcliffe (probably 15 times in the last 10 years) and we regret it every time.
We took our leftovers and just threw them away as no one would eat them later.

We stopped here while on a roadtrip. We actually ordered a large pizza and a salad to-go. They made sure we had everything we need for on-the-road dining. So glad we found this place right off the side of the highway. Food was great, service was great, definitely five stars.

We were excited to try this place out based on the reviews, but were given mediocre service and food. First- The lobby and restaurant entrance smell like the bathrooms- that sanitizer fragrance is not appetizing. I got the Greek salad which was described as having “mixed greens”. Salad was old wilted spinach and generic bagged iceberg mix that wasnt even fresh. Please teach your cooks when lettuce is bad! Salad was gross and left mostly uneaten, and cost me12$. Pizza was not cooked properly and gooey on top- they cooked it again for me and it still had unrelated cheese/uncooked dough. I dont think there are real pizza ovens here or properly trained cooks. Pizza was 24$ and not edible.
Our waitress seemed in a bad mood and like she hated her job. Her co worker was picking up her slack and was friendly and helpful.
My friend did like his Meatball sandwich, which had tasty Marinara and homemade bread. Beers were cheap which was a plus. I suggest not getting pizza or salad and sticking with other items here.
Overall a bummer to spend almost 100$ and half the food was inedible and served by bad mood waitress. I guess this is why we like to cook at home more often these days.

Ended up here per the recommendation of a friend and it did not disappoint. We shared an Italian Salad with their house made Italian dressing and the Italian Stallion Calzone. Both were tasty! Great staff and had a nice chat with the owner. Indoor and outdoor seating is available.

Drinks 10/10
Food 9/10 would be 10/10 if I got to try the Tuscan ravioli but they were out of Alfredo both days, it’ll haunt me how highly everyone talked of it. You can’t go wrong here. They catered the wedding we went to, best pulled pork I have ever had. Simply outstanding people, service, drinks and food.

We had the “Snow Day” pizza special. Garlic knots were delicious but the pizza tasted like dough with tons of Parmesan, one section had no sauce. We’ve had delicious pizza here at other times but this time was disappointing.
