I ordered a build-your-own calzone with red peppers, green chili, roasted garlic, and pepperoni. When the calzone was initially served, the interior was very cold. I requested that it be warmed, and while it was returned promptly, it appeared to have been reheated in a microwave. This caused the crust to lose its crispness and become chewy. Additionally, the toppings did not match the order—green peppers were substituted for green chili, and there was no noticeable roasted garlic included.
My spouse ordered a build-your-own calzone with pepperoni, Italian sausage, jalapeños, and green chilis. The flavors were good and well balanced, though the calzone was noticeably greasy.
On a positive note, our waitress was attentive, friendly, and responsive throughout the meal, which we appreciated.
Original review: Didn’t feel like pizza, so we each tried something different. My Baked Spaghetti with Meatballs was AMAZING, and my wife loved her Mediterranean Pasta (although the waitress did mention that this dish was leaving the menu soon). Portions were more than generous. Meatballs had an almost cheesy texture to them, very good! Cheese topping was ample. Would highly recommend!
The food is TERRIBLE. And cheap but expensive….
The pizza we ordered had a decent crust and the cheapest uncooked sauce with (again) cheap mozzarella. The salad was ok with iceberg lettuce but the rest of it and dressing was just cheap premade junk.
The boneless wings were like buffalo chicken nuggets.
My kids insist on going here every time we pass Thru westcliffe (probably 15 times in the last 10 years) and we regret it every time.
We took our leftovers and just threw them away as no one would eat them later.
Our waitress seemed in a bad mood and like she hated her job. Her co worker was picking up her slack and was friendly and helpful.
My friend did like his Meatball sandwich, which had tasty Marinara and homemade bread. Beers were cheap which was a plus. I suggest not getting pizza or salad and sticking with other items here.
Overall a bummer to spend almost 100$ and half the food was inedible and served by bad mood waitress. I guess this is why we like to cook at home more often these days.
Food 9/10 would be 10/10 if I got to try the Tuscan ravioli but they were out of Alfredo both days, it’ll haunt me how highly everyone talked of it. You can’t go wrong here. They catered the wedding we went to, best pulled pork I have ever had. Simply outstanding people, service, drinks and food.
Staff was friendly and the place just had a great atmosphere.
