Tried Ben’s Pizza at Bayside, Miami and it was great! We had two slices and loved them.
Fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. Perfect spot for a quick in-and-out bite with solid quality. Would definitely come back! ✨

Unfortunately, Ben’s Pizza at Bayside Marketplace was a very disappointing experience. The pizzas were honestly a disaster – especially the cheese pizza, which tasted bad, lacked freshness, and did not meet even basic expectations for quality. To make matters worse, the customer service and communication were very poor, which made the whole visit even more frustrating.

For tourists and visitors: I would strongly recommend avoiding this place and instead exploring the many other food options around Bayside, where you’ll find much better taste, service, and value for your money. With so many great restaurants and stalls in the marketplace, there’s no need to waste your time (or appetite) here.

Ben’s Pizza at Bayside is proof that joy can still exist while the world slowly collapses.
The pizza? Genuinely great. Like, “sit in silence and rethink your life choices while chewing” great. Crispy, cheesy, zero regrets. If this was my last meal, I’d be at peace.
The view is the real plot twist. You’re eating pizza while staring at boats floating peacefully in the ocean, pretending you’re not one bad decision away from selling everything and disappearing onto one of them. Sun, water, yachts, and existential dread—beautiful combo.
Perfect spot to eat excellent pizza, watch rich people glide by, and briefly wonder where things went wrong… before ordering another slice.
Would absolutely return.

I love Ben’s Pizza and usually go to the one by the water, but since I noticed it was the same brand, I decided to try the one in front of Bayside. I bought two slices, and they charged me an extra dollar for a box — without telling me that the charge was optional and that I could’ve just gotten a plate for free.

When I asked why they didn’t mention this, they had no real explanation. I asked for a refund for the box since I didn’t need it, but they refused. The young lady who gave me the pizza, Lizzie, didn’t really help — she barely spoke English, which made it difficult to communicate. This is surprising for a tourist-heavy area like Bayside.

I also spoke with the manager, Joel. He apologized but said there was nothing he could do about the charge. It’s disappointing since I expected better service from a place under the Ben’s Pizza name.

Beware of extra charges on your receipt — always ask for your receipt and review it carefully before paying.

I was looking for pizza near the Bayfront Park area, and my friend recommended Bens Pizza.

Bens Pizza is a casual spot right with waterfront views. I first ordered the veggie slice, complete with zucchini, yellow and red bell peppers, and eggplant. Truthfully, I was not expecting much because of the proximity to all the tourist spots.

I was surprised at the great quality and went back for seconds: a classic cheese slice. But here’s the breakdown:

I thought the toppings were distributed well. It was just the right amount – but I did wish the eggplant was a little more fresh. It was dry.

The cheese is a very thin layer, as well as the sauce. I love a saucy pizza, but I understand the light sauce is a compromise in order to make the thin crust possible.

The highlight of Bens Pizza is definitely the crust. It’s carefully calculated to be thin, fold with ease, and yet has that nice crunch to it in the right spots. See photo and you’ll know what I mean. Great ode to New York style pizza.

Pricing seems what you would expect to pay because of the proximity to the waterfront/ action. The slices are big – they cut mine into two smaller slices. I would definitely come back next time I’m in Miami! Thanks, guys.

My husband and I popped over to Ben’s Pizza after arriving late in Miami Beach. They were open late – thankfully. Ben’s Pizza hit the spot. The slices were enormous and very tasty. I got a slice of pepperoni (which of course I didn’t take a picture of ‍♀️). The pepperoni was so good. You can tell it’s not super processed like a lot of pepperoni. One slice was more than enough. This little pizza stand is cute and totally worthy of a late night pop by.

The food tasted great but the straciatella came unassembled which was a little unusual but it ended up working out great. Great size for each pizza slice and the environment was very nice and relaxing. The seating was limited but we got lucky and had enough for around 25-30 people.

I ordered a take out pizza. I was asked if I wanted it for here or to go. I said here was fine. When I didn’t finish the pizza I asked for a box. The worker said the box is .50 cents. After I paid for a take out pizza and paid $3.50 for a can of coke. The worker was very kind and helpful. But to charge someone .50 for a box when they just paid $13 for a slice of pizza? Poor taste.

The food was great! Nice hot and fresh. The portion sizes were really good. We got both cheese and hot straciatela and they both tasted great. The staff were really nice as well. The only downside was that there wasn’t enough seating.

I ordered a pizza from them via Uber. After taking the first bite, I realized something was wrong. I checked the base and it was completely burned! Inedible because, in addition to being burned, it had also become dry. I will never eat there again.
