A focal point of downtown Madison dining. Exceptional noodles et el. They have an expansive menu which recently got even bigger with more cold noodle options which is exciting for the summer. Mr & Mrs Ruyi don’t ever miss! And if you still not sure the self-branded chopsticks tells you all the attention to detail they put it to their food.

I loved my vegetable spicy hotpot with hand pulled noodles! I got the spiciest option and it was actually nice and spicy, but also still tolerable, perfect. The broth was savory and flavorful. It was a nice filling dinner. I’m Chinese American and grew up with my Chinese immigrant mom’s home cooking, and the food tasted authentic to me 🙂

Its so delicious! We’ve gotten both dinner and lunch here and the chicken noodles are to DIE FOR. The chicken was so good, and the broth was seasoned beautifully. The bean buns (one of my go to snacks) are bomb too. I highly suggest.

Stopped in here for lunch and had smoked beef pulled noodles and it was delicious! The noodles are excellent; chewy with great texture. Added some chili oil and vinegar to my soup and it was so tasty! I’ll definitely be back!

I really like this new joint. The menu is small but it’s great for less decision making. Noodles are made fresh in house and you can see them being made as you order your food. Noodles are offered hand pulled or hand cut. They also offer udon noodles. You get a copious amount of noodles and the broth is packed with flavor. The dumplings were super fresh and the dipping sauce was amazing! Typical Asian condiments of soy and black vinegar at all tables and a small condiment counter with some fresh chopped green onions and cilantro for tasting and homemade chili oil.
Self seating and its an order call service. The food came up fast and we were out within 30 minutes during a fairly busy lunch. Would have been 5 stars if they had 2 of the menu items available. Otherwise this place is legit

The service is quick and friendly. The food was hot, fresh, and delicious. There is more than just noodles here, but the noodles are definitely the highlight. I ordered the scallion pancake and it was crispy and delicious, but not greasy. The BBQ pork buns were hot and the sauce was slightly sweet. I had the roast duck and hand pulled noodles which were perfectly cooked and the broth and duck were flavorful, but not too rich.
