This is the worse chicken wings I have ever had they are burnt, had to buy my own seasoning because they had no flavor. While I was there there was a customer was complaining about how dry the food was and he was right. This food is the worse. I will not be recommending this trash to anyone. $27.25 down the drain

I don’t normally leave reviews. But I continue to try to support Velocity Wings as a local business and they disappoint every…single…time. I’ve been to Anchor Bar, Buffalo Wild Wings, The Pub, Loudoun Kitchen & Bar, etc. and have never had such consistently bad dining experiences like I do at Velocity. To say the food is overpriced is beyond an understatement. You can get more food, better food, and for MUCH cheaper at just about every other sports bar in Loudoun County. They’ve run out of Coke multiple times I’ve been here. The service is ALWAYS slow. The atmosphere is always pretty quiet and depressing for a “sports bar.” I just don’t get it. I keep trying to justify it as supporting a local restaurant but I just can’t do it anymore. If you’re going to go out, Anchor Bar in Leesburg is the place to be. If that’s too far, The Pub across the street in Purcellville will provide better service, better food, better atmosphere, all for cheaper!

I have tried to support this local business but I just cannot do it anymore. The place is empty and depressing, inconsistent service, but the absolute WORST thing about this establishment is the lack of ventilation. It doesn’t matter where you sit in this restaurant, you will leave smelling like you just took a shower in a deep fryer. They are recirculating the nasty kitchen deep fryer air throughout the entire restaurant. Don’t believe me? Go have a beer at the bar, up front near the windows. By the time you leave, your clothes and hair are completely saturated with that nasty smell. Do they even have working exhaust hoods on the fryers?

We have been to Velocity wings numerous times and the last two times the food has been pretty bad. I ordered the chipotle raspberry wings which are my favorite but this time the wings weren’t tossed in the sauce. They were just drizzling with the sauce on the wings. More than half the wings had no sauce. When we asked if this is the way they preparing the wings now we were told it’s whatever the cook wants to do! Well word to cook … go back to tossing the wings in the sauce! The wings were dry and little to no flavor. It will be awhile before we go back to Velocity wings … hopefully the food will improve.

We’ve lived in the area for about 3.5 years and, for no particular reason, had not yet made it to Velocity Wings. But then our daughter’s school had a Spirit Night there so we decided to go. Well, let me tell you, I’m bummed we haven’t tried it sooner!!
They were pretty busy on this particular night but we were seated right away. The dining room is okay, but then put some tables between two rows air booths so it be a bit of a tight fit. But nothing too crazy. Our booth had a TV so it would be an okay place to watch sports. There are also a couple bar areas if you wanted to sit there.
Service was good. The only complaint I would have is that, for some reason, our daughter’s max and cheese came out 5-10 minutes after the rest of our dinners. And we had to remind them. But I give them a pass due to the spirit night rush.
The waiter was knowledgeable and gave recommendations on wing flavors to my husband. We were also pleasantly surprised that they have some additional wing flavors not on the menu… much to my daughter’s delight who loves Old Bay on her wings.
Now about the food… they have this great option to add five wings as a “combo” to any meal. So you don’t have to decide between wings and something else. The wings are large and cooked well. But I was most in love the the Black and Bleu Steak salad I got. It was sooo good! Seriously, I’m craving it right now! My husband split his order between Island Dry Rub and Memphis Dry Rub. The Memphis was just okay for him but he enjoyed the Island Dry Rub so much he was trying to eat the remnants using his celery!

“Say that again.”
“Yes sir, 10 wings are $25, I’m sorry.”
“Ahh, you know what, I’d like to cancel that order, I just don’t want to pay $2.50 cents per chicken wing. Can you cancel that?”
“Yessir. I know. I’m sorry.”
Went to another place just up the street, a pub, and got around 22 truly EXCELLENT wings, two different flavors for waaay less than $25.
This is not a criticism of the VW’s food, atmosphere, etc. I didn’t eat their wings.

It’s hard to rate because there are times the service and food is great, but it’s less and less lately. After tonight I believe it’s just poor management. My wing order was wrong and instead of just getting me new wings they took the old ones back and tried to fix it. Thery were so greasy you couldn’t eat them. Knowing I wasn’t satisfied, the manager just walked off and still charged me. We will go to the one in Lovettsville, VA and hope eventually they get new management!!

It just keeps getting worse & worse, whoever took this place over is destroying it. Maybe the bar keeps it in business but the food is terrible, old nasty dried up frozen stuff that I wouldn’t feed my dogs. No personality & i asked for a jack & Ginger & I have no clue what it was & didn’t drink it. They never once asked us how everything is & I had to get up to get water. I do not recommend this place & we will never try it again. We used to love it but will never return!!

I had to stop and charge my EV and, since Velocity was in the same strip mall as the charger, I thought I would give it a try. The service was friendly, helpful, and quick and the food was delicious. I got the classic chicken sandwich and it was quintessential. A much better overall experience than going to the Chic-Fil-A down the road.
