Pan fried pork bao 3.5/5. spicy beef fry pot was very good. I would give a 5/5. It is a bit spicy with cumin flavor. Eggplant and pork pot was very good too but it was oily because the eggplant was deep fried. I would give 4/5.

This is hands-down the best Chinese restaurant I’ve had in Georgia.

We used to live about a 30-minute drive away and still came almost every week. The owner and servers are always super warm and friendly, and they even remember our usual order every time.

Their Mao Xue Wang is the most authentic I’ve ever had in the U.S. – rich, bold, and absolutely perfect. The Chongqing spicy chicken, yu-xiang shredded pork, and Zhu Ta Fish (竹塔鱼) are all incredibly delicious as well. Every dish is packed with flavor and tastes just like real Sichuan food.

We’ve moved to California now, but we still miss this place so much. On this trip back to Georgia, we made a special stop just to eat here again, and it was just as amazing as we remembered. Highly recommend!

If I have to complain about something, it’s honestly… why aren’t they closer to my home?

This place is seriously underrated. Every single dish I’ve tried has been beyond delicious… and delicious feels like an understatement. I used to rotate between different Chinese restaurants just to keep some variety in my life, but ever since I started ordering from here, I can’t switch anymore. Nothing compares. So far I’ve tried the scallion pancake, crispy beef, orange chicken, and the spicy Chongqing chicken. Every single one? Chef’s kiss.

Do yourself a favor and treat yourself. Go there. YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT

ps. Love you Wei Sichaun restaurant! ♡ Never change!

For a Chinese restaurant in general, it’s pretty good. But if I raise the bar to “authentic,” then it’s just okay. I know this review might sound harsh, but it’s still way better than many “fake Chinese” places that I wouldn’t even bother going to.

The dry pot beef was a bit salty but lacked the depth of spices. Traditionally, dry pot should use dried peppers, bean paste, and other spices to create a richer, saucier flavor. Instead, this tasted more like cumin beef with just some crushed peppers and pre-mixed seasoning.

The cabbage was fine, but also a little too salty.
Scallion pancake was okay, though I think it would be better if the scallion oil was seasoned before mixing it into the dough.
Salt and pepper squid was also decent, and honestly, the price was pretty fair for that dish.
Lastly, the pan-fried bao could use a crispier bottom—I was expecting more crunch.

Overall, it’s a decent spot, especially compared to many Americanized places. Just wish the dry pot had more authentic flavor.

Authentic Szechuan Chinese! The hot pot was the best dish. The flavor in all dishes are amazing but if your not used to spice be prepared. Also on some dishes they use a seasoning that is numbing to the mouth. I ordered the salt and pepper calamari and that numbing seasoning is on it. My entire mouth felt like it exploded! It was numb top to bottom I thought I was having an allergic reaction lol overall the food is a hit.

Super authentic Sichuan food! I apologize for the photo—the food was so good that I didn’t have time to snap a pic before we polished it off.
The service is incredibly fast; our entire order came out in less than 5 minutes! You must not miss the fried rice. It’s not oily at all, the rice is perfectly bouncy, and you can really taste that amazing smoky, “burnt” aroma (wok hei). Everything else on the menu is delicious too, but the fried rice is the absolute star. Highly recommend!

My husband and I ordered takeout based on a recommendation from a neighbor. We kept it simple. Just the fried flounder which came highly recommended, fried pork dumplings, and a small add on of fried rice. When our order arrived, the bag and the box with the flounder was not sealed. Also the dumplings were not fried and there wasn’t any dipping sauce. I will say the fish was tasty, but I am wondering who got to taste it first?

Fantastic authentic sichuanese food. Great hospitality and service. We got the shrimp fried rice, soup dumplings, fried eggplant appetizer, fish in hot oil and all of these items were literally perfect. Kung pao chicken is another amazing item we got. Bamboo fish appetizer is fantastic. Authentic flavor and more than sufficient portions. Glad we found our go to sichuanese spot in Marietta. Highly recommend to anyone look for quality food (as opposed to having to go to Buford highway or other areas that tend to not be worth it). We are here 3 times a month at least – and nothing comes close to such satisfying a wholesome food in the area or areas.

WEI is my favorite Chinese spot in the area. I always get the egg drop soup, soup dumplings, and the sesame chicken. Very basic order but it’s delicious every time. I would recommend, although my friend says her hair smell like food every time we leave.

We came on Fri night so it was busy but we were seated immediately and service was fast. Ordered soup dumplings, shan city shrimp, bamboo fish, and dandan noodles. It was all pretty good, but I Ioved the dandan broth- super spicy and flavorful. Would go again for sure 🙂
