I went here from Clarksville TN to meet someone online for a date. The place looked very nice and I walked in and was promptly greeted and it had a great atmosphere. Sadly my date got cold feet and stood me up but nonetheless. I didn’t order anything and decided to leave considering I was frustrated at the situation. But seems to be a great place to hang out.

My experience Friday was disappointing. I am a little confused. Answer me this…when you have a large party like 6 or more, I understand the gratuity being add to the bill in that group. When did gratuity become an automatic fee for a table of two customers? In all honesty, the waitress didn’t earn 20% of anything. She kept disappearing. We worked harder by having to hunt her down than she did serving. However, I’m a tipper and never leave less than 20% even with poor service. UNTIL she chose to give herself an inappropriate tip. It’s the audacity.

My server was really good and nice. The food was hot and on point. The only reason I gave this visit a 3 star because one of the servers came into the restroom went into the stall and did not wash her hands while I was there. Thankfully she wasn’t our server.

Well, I really didn’t want to say anything but this is really bothering me. My husband and I decided we wanted to get out for the evening. So we noticed the Blue Monkey wasn’t packed and the atmosphere was a vibe. We set in our own little corner and ordered a meal. Everything was good except the Cole slaw. Definitely a no go. So our waiter Chris….who was astounding, brought us out the twice baked potato. Just as soon as we were about to jump into it, a beautifully, brown house roach crawled across the table like he lived there. At that point, I wasn’t hungry anymore. We politely paid for our meal, tipped the waiter and left. So we will not be patronizing this establishment in the future. I would like to thank you for your services and wish you well.

The chicken fried steak with fried okra and mashed potatoes was pretty basic, but overall good. The pot roast was the best!! So much food and great flavor.

This was my second time visiting this location. My first time was pleasurable enough that I knew I would be back. This visit exceeded my 1st (mainly due to the bar attendance’s attentiveness. The first time it sucked but the food was good). On that first visit we saw a delicious burger being served and on this one, me and my companion had to try it so we ordered the BBQ bacon burger today. I will attest that this burger not only looked delicious but it actually tasted that way. The fries were hot and the burger was juicy, flavorful and as mouthwatering as it looked. Found another hidden spot for a good burger. The spot has a welcoming atmosphere and usually the only people that have been in are at the bar area but the dining area is open also. There is pool area from what I can see. They also have a hot plate special that runs until they close. Overall, I recommend this place for a cozy date, a quick drink or a great meal in general!!

We sat on the patio and it was nice. The inside was busy. Their wasn’t many bugs bothering us and the temp was just right. Our waitress was punctual and nice. Food was cooked just right and flavorful. Drinks were strong too. I’m going to sit in the inside next time!!

Food was great. Great atmosphere. Must be 21 n older to get in. They check id immediately. There is quite a bit of smoking as well. Non smokers beware. Fish basket was phenomenal!! ALSO PLEASE TRY THE CREAM SPINACH. ITS SERIOUSLY AMAZING!!!! Enjoy yall!!!!!!

Was in town after being away from Memphis for 8yrs and went to this bar with some family. We saw it as we drove by and decided to stop. Went into the bar with no expectations. The bar is okay. There was a live band playing, which they were pretty good. The wait staff were attentive. The bar atmosphere could be a lot better if they didn’t allow smoking in the bar. I came out smelling like a carton of cigarettes. Not my style.
