Okay, Whits. Drove over 8 miles to get my frozen custard fix and you CLOSED early. Sadly, I had a huge craving for my usual cookie dough and hot fudge. This menopausal woman is not happy. I picked a fight with my husband on the way home and yelled at my dog. This is not me. But my soul is crushed. I’m twitching. The craving for cookie dough is overwhelming. The sweats are kicking in. I might need to check into the Betty Crocker clinic before you open tomorrow.

This place is going downhill! The girl who helped me tonight wasn’t friendly at all! Even when ordering! Got my food after sitting way too long for hot dogs and soup. On my way home I noticed the bowl looked half full! It was! And no after waiting so long and in Johnstown traffic this evening I did not take it back! I shouldn’t have had to! It should have never been given to me through the drive thru like that! Paid full price for half a bowl of soup.

Excellent custard! Love yo get a takeout quart. Extremely reasonable in price. Toppings galore. Favorite location is near Miami, Oxford. Love the owners Friendliness and willingness to converse.

Okay dude straight up I love Whit’s their whitser is great but get rhe buckeye whitser that is legendary! I love frozen custard but in my opinion they have the best. I’ve never been to a bad whits and this location is no exception it was the service was great and the food was delicious! Next time in town believe I’ll be pulling up to here forreal!

We came here while driving by specifically because the sign out front said a few flavors including “cotton candy”.We get up to the drive thru to order after waiting for 1 car ahead of us for about 5 mins and are told (after starting our order) that they only had vanilla, chocolate, and buckeye custard. It was right after a noon OSU game so it was about 3:30-4pm. We ended up just going with buckeye because we sat in the drive thru for at least 5 mins just to order. The buckeye was ok. Very heavy on the peanut butter – so very rich. Definitely NOTHING like the cotton candy that we wanted and had seen on the sign and came to get.

We came here for Frozen Custard – which was incredible. But we left talking about the Coney Dog! It was a first for us and we loved it. Dawn and Judy were fantastic. They explained the menu, gave us samples and helped us make our choices. Highly recommend Whit’s Frozen Custard of Johnstown!

I was pretty disappointed last night. While ordering inside I had to repeat my items like 3 to 4 times because my order was erased “while ordering” and mind you I got there at 715 and didn’t leave with my items until 745 and I had to have the ice cream re made because it was the first thing given to me and I was still waiting on food and all this was “to go”. I will hand it to the girls in there, they were busting *** trying to get everything done and they for sure deserve a raise but I was pretty annoyed at the situation. It looked to me like they just needed more help and unfortunately businesses suffer from that and I know it’s not their fault to a certain extent but yikes.

I’ve been to Whit’s twice since moving to Johnstown. It’s so delicious!! I had a seasonal flavored custard in a waffle cone the first time. Maybe pecan toffee? Delicious!! Second time was a coney dog. It was really good! The sauce is a bit sweet, but it was good. I’ll be back!

There used to be a fast service, but lately, they have become so slow and seemingly disorganized. However, it’s still worth the wait if you have patience. It must be a new crew, as the prior crew had it together. There used to be a sense of urgency to make it happen when a line was waiting. I’ll still tip them, hoping that doesn’t encourage them to move even slower.

Don’t stop at 8:01 when they close at 8, you’ll be denied service. Worth the drive to the New Albany location. We normally stop by to get our flavor of the week weekly but off by ONE minute is a bit dramatic. Your scooping ice cream, not spending an extra 30 minutes to serve us at dinner. I could be more understanding if it was 10-15 minutes past close, but not one minute.
