I ordered to go. The Brisket was buttery tender. The sauces were not very flavorful… to me anyway. But the green beans and Mac and cheese was very good.

Worth the visit, 10/10 experience. The staff were very nice and welcoming. The food was amazing as well. We got the brisket, catfish, ribs, & buffalo wings. Everything was cooked to perfection and seasoned well with a lot of flavor.
Will for sure be back to visit.

Looooved the food. Absolutely chefs kiss – the name says it all. We got the ron swanson to share, and I got the kale cesar salad to eat. To drink we got the spaghetti and shot and beer. All served by a lovely server, everyone was vibing minding their own in this perfect little restaurant with a walk-up bar. Would recommend and come again.

Hands down one of the best places in Baltimore for bbq and the tiki drinks are amazing! Like true to classic tiki, full stop! And the bartender Mike is charismatic, professional and educational on all things tiki and the industry as a whole. This is the first time here and I can’t wait to go back!

Stopped in for lunch. Food, atmosphere and service were excellent. We shared wings as an appetizer. I had a brisket sandwich with macaroni & cheese. My companions had ribs and the kale salad. All of us agreed we’d come back. A little pricey so I’m giving 4 stars. I’ll check for specials and go back.

On a hot summer weekday we decided to eat some bbq. Now they didn’t have any brisket or pulled chicken left so we were a little disappointed….granted we arrived close to closing on a slow night.
But that didn’t make a difference because that half rack if ribs was on point. And the Pork taco were great. Green beans and pinto were good and tasty.
So we will have to call next time to make sure we get some brisket and pulled
chicken.
Willie took care of us at the table and George is the owner and pitmaster.
I didn’t take pictures of the food but imagine some perfect ribs.

The restaurant looked warm and inviting, but we ordered our food to go. I ordered the beef brisket, mac and cheese, and green beans. I was impressed! The beef was tender and nicely seasoned. The mac was cheesy and the green beans (cooked with pork) were delicious. Babe got a half chicken with the same sides. He enjoyed his meal. We will definitely be back! (and make sure you try their BBQ sauce)

I’ve had Heritage Smokehouse two times in the last two years. The service is always very good as staff has always been pleasant and helpful. The place has been very clean both times. The wings and sausages are good. The catfish is fried well. I also really like their dark spicy mustard and pickles.
I have had their brisket twice. The second time I ordered it I requested that it be less moist since I recall it was very moist the first time around. Both times the cuts were extremely fatty making it difficult to eat. The flavor was good, but the fat was a bit much for my liking. I don’t think I would get it again as I have had brisket that isn’t as fatty. I have had their ribs once and found the flavor to be good but fatty as well. The mushroom gravy and rice had a lot of thyme in it, but with less thyme and a few other tweaks, could be good. The mac and cheese is tasty.
I can see myself returning, but sticking to specific menu items. Great service!

First visit to Heritage Smokehouse and the food and service was awesome. I had the Brisket Platter with roll, potato salad and braised green beans. They had a BBQ sauce area with a decent selection of what appeared to be homemade sauces. It was a five star experience, however, I only gave it four stars due to it being very overpriced. The platter with water cost me $45 ($37.10 plus $8 tip). I would have paid that for a sampler platter of meats but compared to Famous Dave’s One Meat Platter $18.99, Heritage is severely (85%) overpriced for a similar experience. Picture Comparison: Heritage Smokehouse plate has green beans and Famous Dave’s plate has cornbread.
