Dining at Biji Dining is nothing short of extraordinary. The bold, vibrant flavours of India meeting modern Australian cuisine is an absolute symphony on the palate. Every dish feels thoughtfully composed layered, balanced, and bursting with personality.
What truly elevates the experience is the way they champion small producers and local growers, showcasing the highest quality produce with creativity and respect. You can taste the care in every bite.
Harry and Sandy are an undeniable powerhouse in the culinary industry their passion, innovation, and precision shine through in every detail, from the menu to the atmosphere.
A true must-do dining experience. Unforgettable, refined, and absolutely worth every moment.

We felt so lucky to come across this wonderful pop-up restaurant during our stay in Swansea. Great food! Plenty vegetarian options but they also changed the chicken dish in the menu for the vegetarians in our party – the best mushrooms we ever had The place has a very good wine list too. Go and enjoy while you can! 🙂

Great use of Tasmanian produce and an Indian twist on dishes. We had the slow cooked lamb, bbq chicken and prawns. First two were out of this world I thought – lamb melted in your mouth while the chicken exploded with flavour. Prawn dish was good, flavourful but not on par with the others we thought.
A word of warning: this tends towards fine dining in terms of portion sizes (typically not my favourite style of dining). So you eat for the flavours rather than to get full (we didn’t do desert though). Going with this mindset will ensure you truly experience the art that is Biji Dining.
I would absolutely do it again.
Hot tip: Get the Chilli crunch!

Amazing food at this pop up restaurant! We had the lamb kebab, house made bread, duck leg, egg plant and king prawns. Which are all amazing, especially the king prawns!! Worth the drive from Hobart to Swansea!

If you’re in Swansea anytime between now and 8 Feb 2026 do yourself a favour and book a table here. Chef Harry and his lovely wife Sandy are running their Biji Dining pop-up for a limited time on the premises of The Branch. Indian flavours can pack a punch but in Harry’s deft hands, aromatic spices and herbs from the subcontinent provide delightful but subtle pops of flavour and accents to a menu of largely Western dishes featuring quality Aussie produce. My wife and I cancelled dinner reservations at another acclaimed restaurant in Swansea to have dinner here on a Tuesday evening, and we’re very glad we did!

Another wonderful food experience at Avani Wines. Biji Dining deserves high praise for the quality of each dish…labour-intensive for sure and each one so delicious. As usual love Avani wine…for me the low intervention wines…pinot gris and moscato/gewurztraminer…are perfection.

An absolutely outstanding dinner. Highly recommend. The service was excellent and the food was fabulous. It is a pop up so if you miss out in Tassie follow on socials to see where they go next.
