Been meaning to try this place for a while now and was in the area so I finally stopped by!
I got japchae and cinnamon hotteok and both were really yummy and totally hit the spot as I’ve been craving Korean food! It’s been a long time since I had hotteok and I’m so glad I got it – so crispy and perfect tasting – you have to try it!! The man who took my order was super friendly and we had a nice little conversation about hotteok too! I’ll definitely have to come back and try more of the menu with my sisters! 🙂

I came into Pelicana Chicken for the first time today and it was so good! I had the rose tteokbokki with kimmari and dumplings and everything was so delicious together! The sauce was so creamy and mild it was not very spicy which was perfect for me. The dumplings and kimmari were crispy and perfect to dip in the rose tteokbokki sauce.
The service was amazing as well! I was greeted promptly by a very kind woman up front, and she was so helpful when I asked for recommendations. She also recommended the banana milk to me which was so creamy and delightful it tasted like a banana laffy taffy!
After I ate, I was greeted by the male chef and he asked me how the food was. He was so happy I enjoyed the food and wished me a good day!
Overall, the food is amazing and filling (I took half of what I ordered to go) and the people working there are so sweet and accommodating! Definitely try their food!

Delicious! Juicy chicken with tons of flavor. Everything was fresh and hot! The place is clean and the service was fantastic! We had chicken- sweet/spicy

This is a takeout place but the dine-in space is quite nice. The chicken is tender and crispy, the sauce (soy garlic and honey garlic) is amazing. Staffs are friendly. Will go back and try other dishes!

This is a little hole in the wall. Really amazing fried chicken and ramen. The fries were so crispy and soft on the inside. A lot of love was put into the food. Gonna bring my sisters here!

This place is not about atmosphere. It’s about really good food. The dumplings are delicious whether you get them fried or steamed. The soy garlic chicken is super crispy but light at the same time. I also found out I have a low key obsession with this coconut milk!!!

We have done both take out and dine in and both times the food was amazing. The half chicken (extra crispy with original and sweet and spicy sauce) and Rose Tteokbokki were cooked to perfection. Can’t wait to go back and try more things from the menu!
Update August 2025: have been back several times since and owner/staff have always been super friendly and last time we visited we had brought friends who have never had tteokbokki or other street food so the owners gave us extra food to try. The new bingsu items were refreshing and definitely large enough to share between 2-4 people!

I got a to go order, but I’ve been wanting to check this place out. There are a few tables inside, typical for these restaurants.
I had a glimpse of the white cheddar powder fries and the jumbo wings. They look super legit and I’ll definitely be getting them next time.
Rosé Tteokbokki was so good. Great portion. I’ve never had it before but loved it.
I also got the steamed dumplings. 2 chicken, 2 beef, 2 veggie. They were fresh and the dumplings were filling and had great flavor.
This place is a hidden gem. If you’re looking for something different, check it out.
