Oh my goodness the croissants! Still dreaming about their flaky goodness!

I will echo what another reviewer said in that these croissants are out of this world, but the coffee missed the mark. I was really looking forward to having a cup of coffee and sitting outside, but the coffee was a bit warm, not piping hot, and it just wasn’t robust enough. But the croissant… I am still dreaming about these croissants! We also ordered several things to go, including some other types of pastries, but we are still talking about the croissants. We ate some croissants there; we brought some croissants with us, and even after a couple days the croissants were flaky and delicious. We would come back again just for the croissants! Gosh I feel like I used said the word ‘croissant’ more in this review than I have in a year.

Tips for going: of course, there will be a line, so just expect it. On a beautiful sunny day there are lots of scattered places to sit, but also again, there will likely be quite a few people already seated. The line moves quickly. And people are friendly enough that if you ask nicely to join their table and they have empty seats, they will certainly let you.

PS. They also had a surprisingly good wine selection.

We stopped for coffee and bakery items. I really wanted to love the scones but they missed the mark for me. The coffee was also not a favorite for me. The croissants, however, are what redeemed the place for my children. ☺️ Definitely worth stopping by to try the food/croissants!

Incredible little breakfast and lunch spot in the heart of Kennebunk. A focus on baked goods with scratch kitchen. Very convenient with parking, easy to get in and out of or a place you can chill outside with a coffee on their rustic patio with a farmhouse vibe. Staff was hardworking and efficient. Love this spot.

We were in the area for a week on vacation and I loved trying new coffee shops each morning. I got a hot maple latte and my husband got a cheese danish – they were both incredible – but I think we loved the space the most! We got the sweetest book from the little free library next to the shop and read to our daughter while we enjoyed their space outside. One of our highlights from our week away!

This is an adorable, rustic stop that is a must visit in Kennebunk. The smells alone are worth the stop. The croissants were so buttery and flaky, earning their French label. The coffee cake was amazing. Our latte and matcha were both delish. There was a chocolate hot dog the staff member convinced us to try to was definitely MEH. It was basically a semi-stale soft pretzel with just a bit of chocolate inside. It sounded so unique but was a miss. Everything else seems like it would be delectable. The spot is just so sweet and they seem very inclusive. They also sell wine and champagne! Can’t wait to return.

Super good food, good prices, and great staff. No indoor seating, patio only but it was a cute and comfortable patio. Just walking up to it, you get lost in the delicious smells. Will definitely go again.

We love good food, so naturally we love Boulangerie. Their croissants are life changing, in the best way possible. THE BEST cinnamon bun I’ve ever had in my entire life, the guests we had try them agreed whole heartedly. Their potato rosemary bread is my favorite bread ever. Jalapeño cheddar fougasse is AMAZING, especially heated up with some cream cheese. My mother in law adored their pumpkin loaf. We have also purchased their monkey bread & gifted it to a friend, who said it made her entire day and needed to know where to buy it. I would recommend all of the items mentioned above. We have never been disappointed by this establishment.

Definitely worth a visit the food is amazing. The service was excellent. They offer call ahead ordering which I highly recommend especially in the summer. The location seems a bit small and there is only outside seating.

Lovely bakery and Café in the Kennebunk area. The staff are very polite and courteous. The outside seating with the shade was quite pleasant, especially during the warm summer days, while sipping on an iced coffee.

A must-visit in Kennebunk. The butter croissant was delicious. The next day I got an almond croissant and went to heaven. 10/10. Such a cute spot.
