Food was delicious!
Very authentic and honestly by far the best Mexican restaurant I’ve been to in VA. Moved from Cali a couple years ago and had not found something like home ❤️ Highly recommend. Food is right on the spot ! Not salty or without flavor. Their flan was amazing !!! Waitress were absolutely friendly and always recommending food based on what I liked and what they sell the most.

Great authentic Mexican food. The dish portions are generous, the music lively, the servers are very friendly. I had the ceviche as the starter and the molcajete Maya , both very good. Try the churros for dessert. Not my best photo of the food

I came in for lunch on a Monday. They offered chips and salsa while I read the menu. I ordered 2 steak tacos, 1 chicken taco and a steak and cheese. The steak taco was okay, but the chicken taco was dry to the point of being almost crunchy. The steak and cheese was overpowered by the peppers on it, but had a good amount of cheese and the bread was warm and soft. I had a frozen mango margarita that was really good. Everything was reasonably priced and my server was very attentive and friendly. I think I’ll try again and order the fajitas next time.

Friendly promoters made our visit even more pleasant. We had frozen Matrimonio margarita – a blend of mango and strawberry dual flavor Margarita and Michelada Cahuama Beer (beer with lime and salt). Outstanding. And then we ordered one of their specialties, Molcajete Azteca. It was out of the park! Later I came to know it is a favorite among the local automotive dealer’s staff and neighbors. Definitely a must go place if you wanna try Mexican food.

Always the best from Molcajete Moya; the only Mexican food spot I go to in the DMV! Freshest food, absolutely massive serving sizes, and the best service and atmosphere!! Gotta love Taco Thursday too ($1.99 tacos)!!! Amazing Molcajete too, with the best prices around by far!! I’m from Seattle originally and have had some incredible Molcajete, and absolutely nothing matches Molcajete Moya on the east coast ❤️

I can’t stress enough how good this place is. From their food to hospitality. We work down the road and go there at least every (Taco Tuesday) minimum. If I could I would eat there every day. This is my favorite place to work at because of this place.
