I’ve been to The Buzz at their Union City location before and was excited to check out the Copperleaf café in Erie — it did not disappoint! The coffee is excellent and the service is just as friendly and welcoming as I remembered. I accidentally sat in a section that was closed because I had my work laptop out and was trying to get some work done, but the staff didn’t seem to mind at all. It’s such a great atmosphere — perfect for grabbing a delicious coffee and getting a little work done. Highly recommend!
Edit:
I wanted to add I love the local products used here like Happy Mug coffee beans and Pot of Gold dairy!

Original review: Honest review: nice place, good menu, excellent coffee choices. Omelette was amazing. But, service is working out some kinks. I think with time the flaws will get worked out
Update: my original review was a three star. But I had made mental note to come back and try again to see if kinks got worked out. And they have. It is a joyful relaxed atmosphere with clever creative food. The specials were recommended to us twice. We both had them and they are wonderful. Don’t hesitate to stop into this fun restaurant.

Cross Roads has closed its doors, but fans will be happy to hear that Buzz has been resurrected at the Copper Leaf Cafe. The transition seems to have kept much of what patrons enjoyed, as the decor and general feel remain the same.
While the service was acceptable and prices are competitive, you might notice that portions seemed a bit smaller than at the previous location. However, the food was tasty nonetheless. One minor detail noted was the absence of salt and pepper shakers on the tables, but otherwise, the experience was positive.

This is the best place for breakfast in all of Erie! I go every week now and the entire team is so lovely- Anthony and Alex are great cooks and I feel the hometown vibes every time I’m there. They get to know you and treat you well – and they’re one of the only restaurants that has sourdough bread! Delicious

The Buzz at Copperleaf Cafe offers a cozy updated cafe experience located just a minute up the road from the Millceek Mall. Delicious food with awesome coffee choices . There are a nice selection of muffins and cookies upfront if you need to grab and go. We have been here a few times already for breakfast since they opened as The Buzz. Our breakfast have been delicious , nicely sized and the service was great. Everyone here is so very friendly . A great offering here in the Erie area!

Great place for an eclectic selection of coffees, breakfast and lunch. I’ve had the Hawaiian Melt, the chicken wrap and the pulled pork on a pretzel – all were fantastic and I would get again. The service is really superior. They’ve taken care of my dad a couple of times who has several “special needs” issues and I can’t say enough about how helpful and caring they’ve been. I’ve seen some other reviews saying the portions are smaller. I would agree that it’s not a place where your plate will be overflowing – but they taste GREAT and I’ve never felt cheated. I will be back again, and again, and again.

The bacon egg and cheese everything bagel is incredible. Soft outside, crunchy inside. Get with hot sauce! Coffee really great too. Great spot.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience visiting the Buzz! The atmosphere is so welcoming and warm and all of the staff are incredibly kind. The Nutty Brew is a must try and they offer a wide selection of breakfast options. I’ve been here a few times and it’s quickly becoming one of my favorites

Buzz at Copperleaf Cafe is a new, excellent relaxing place to grab coffee, breakfast, lunch, or just stop for a snack. They seem to make and bake everything in house, and it all tastes delicious! It’s worth stopping in and the staff are all friendly and accommodating.

Enjoy visitng Buzz for breakfast! Been there multiple times (weekdays and weekends). Good coffee and especially like the eggs benedict, potato pancakes and the corned beef hash breakfast (though i think that was a “special”). Haven’t tried other items yet, but will be back for more.
Very good and friendly service as well. I do hear weekends tend to be busy so expect some wait time (I didn’t experience that when i went on a saturday).
