Well I was very sympathetic with the servers when I set down at the bar because there was a Karen giving them hell about their service…. well seeing that I ordered a Chorizo taco, an al pastor taco and an order of sopaipilla to go and this is what I got, I feel like she was justified for giving them hell. Didn’t open this up till it was too late to go back.

This spot on the river walk is a gem and was the highlight of my time in Astoria!
The Guac hits the spot, and the presentation is the best I’ve seen, the Al Pastor tacos were great, and the location is great!

More than anything, the warmth and the service is unmatched, and they made me feel at home – highly recommend!
The fact that it’s open late in the middle of the week when the rest of the town has shut down, makes it all the sweeter for travelers!

Located right on the pier near the water. You can see slivers of the water itself if you sit at the bar. The staff are quick, pleasant, and friendly. We stopped in for a late lunch and enjoyed our food at the bar. Chips and salsa were excellent, as well as the mango chamoy margarita. Was not super into the meal we ordered but I may not know what to order. Beans were yummy!

This is one of my favorite Mexican restaurants in the county. Everyone is always so nice and the food is always very fresh. Their guacamoles amazing. I ordered a site of beans once and it was like a lake. It was fabulous. I also have a Margaritas almost every time, and I recommend you try them. I think I’ve had all of the flavors by now. The blood, orange and prickly pear are probably my favorite, though I highly recommend the spicy jalapeno margarita if you like a little kick!

Food was hot & tasty!

I had a combination plate with tostada & enchilada with shredded beef (waiters recommendation) and loved it. I don’t usually like shredded beef because it is frequently dry and bland, in my opinion, but this was neither! I was VERY pleasantly surprised! I’ll be back next time I am in town.

Rainy (very) day lunch began with a wonderful smile and greeting and ended with a nice shared laugh, all with very good Mexican food in between.

Located right on the dock, inside the building has been nicely preserved which sets the scene.

After a friendly greeting we perused the menu seeing all of the expected “classic” alongside some more unique options.

The lunch choices were plenty and the serving sizes were as well. (You can see by the attached pictures)

The Fajita Salad was a definite win.

My 2 taco lunch combo with beef was ready, and perfect lunch side

Enmoladas lunch combo with molè sauce was especially good. The sauce was superb, if you’re a Fan of Molè.

We’ll definitely be back next time we’re driving through Astoria

Since we are from Arizona, where there is a lot of Mexican food, we took a chance on Mexican Food while in Oregon.

To our surprise this was more authentic than many places in AZ!!
We got to talking to the bartender/waitress and found out she is from Sonora Mexico, just over the border from Arizona!

Food was great, service was great and the drinks were some of the most unusual combination Margaritas we have ever had! Not super strong, but super tasty!!

Waited for an hour and 15 minutes to get food. No communication, only one refill on chips after we were already clearly frustrated, and very poor service. As someone who has worked in this industry, I was shocked by the poor performance, lack of communication or attention to tables and then the low quality of food we finally recieved. I understand it was a busy night and I think that can really make or break someone’s experience, especially when a restaraunt isnt prepared to handle a bit of stress, but today our experience was horrible and the only reason we didnt walk out after the first fourth minutes was that my mother was too afraid to hurt anyone’s feelings. Will never return.

Accommodating and friendly, and the food was fantastic. If you like spicy, ask for their hot sauce…it’s got a good heat and a nice habanero flavor.
