Walked in and was immediately greeted with a warm smile by Hector and he even took the time to show us the pizza options after finding out it was our first time there. Not the best. I placed the order at 550pm. Said the order would be ready at 613, they said 7 more minutes. Then they dropped it on the floor, things happen. They made a new one. But what frustrated me is they continued to make whole pepperoni pizza by the slice and put those in the window and made me continue to wait, idk. Food is good and they were nice because it. Famous J’s is pretty consistently solid, but these 5 stars are for Hector! Every time this man is on shift he is the star of the show, welcoming guests, getting to know their names and their orders, he makes sure the food comes out to perfection, and that guests leave happy. I have had only great experiences here. There have been a few times where I’ve had to wait but the pizza is worth it. Some of the best pizza I think in Colorado. Others have noted the head Chef being rude… I don’t believe that at all. He’s been super kind to us every time we’ve gone in and given us appetizers for free if the weight has been too long. Super nice dude and really great pizza. Worth going.

I finally found my favorite pizza in the Denver area. Our last order was perfect, just crispy enough with super fresh ingredients that fed a family of 4….twice. It’s a large pie, with generous toppings cooked perfectly that we enjoyed for dinner and leftovers the next day. The staff are super friendly, and while $10 pizzas are a relic from the olden-days, this $30 large pie is most definitely getting what you paid for. Thanks for being my favorite local pizza place from now on!
