I had not heard of the restaurant before but wife came across a Val-Pak coupon for Milk Can in Muskego which is not a usual area we frequent but I was going to be near the area at lunchtime so I decided to try it and was pleased with the decision. (coupon I discovered had expired but stopped anyway)
The decor was interesting and well done for the theme of the restaurant.
I ordered the Jacks Gold burger and I thought it was very good.
Service was great and delivery of food to my table was quick.
And of course had to have a scoop of custard, flavor of the day I was there was maple, again a very good decision, I enjoyed it.
I would stop in again when in the area and know I would have good food and custard at fairly reasonable cost that’s on par with a fast service type restaurant.

Been here several times. It’s a little pricey, but it’s always been good.

This time we got a couple burger, Jack’s Gold and the Milk Can Burger. Both wer excellent. Shared an order of Onion Rings and a Chocolate Malt. Everything was very good. Quick, hot and tasty.

The servers came around during the meal to ask if everything was good and if we needed anything. Nice touch.

Awesome little place. I had a mushroom Swiss burger and it was delicious . The cheese curds and sauce are the foods you dream about! Super delicious! I definitely recommend it!

Going out on a limb to say this is the best burger in Milwaukee. I’m tired of overly large greasy patties and this place was the exact opposite. When the burger comes, it actually looks quite small. What it lacks in size, it more than makes up for in taste. The sear on these patties was perfection and all the other ingredients were super fresh. The fries and cheese curds were also delicious and sized appropriately. Wonderful malt to cap things off too. I finished the meal pleasantly but not overly (for a change) full. Staff was excellent throughout. Also smiles in the kitchen too, which usually means great food is coming your way. Funding it and parking was super easy. Highly, highly recommend this place.

Been hearing how great it is for a while now, so tried it Sunday evening 12/14/25 . Got a smash burger – wasn’t very smashed and was rather pink to boot, “large” fries weren’t very large, and while the raspberry shake was pretty good, the whipped topping they put on it was fake, and left a greasy oily taste. Price was rather high also – got two burgers , two fries and 1 shake, was almost $40. Lesson learned, not a fan.

Delicious burger. Perfect bun to meat ratio. I had the classic burger with cheese. Also shared fries. Both were totally worth it. Burger had great flavor and the toppings were just right. No hiding the sandwich in sauces and condiments here. Fries were fresh and delicious with just a hint of salt. So good! Will be back again for sure. One thing I noticed…super clean place. 🙂 prompt service.

The burgers were both great. Super good cheese curds. But the ranch. Thats some really good ranch. I can’t wait to go back.

A pleasant dining experience. Food is delicious but burgers are definitely on the small side. Fries were perfect. Restaurant was clean and has a cool vibe inside. Service was fast and friendly. Just wish the burgers were bigger (very thin beef) for the price you pay.

Every time I’m in the area I make sure to stop by. This is one of the few places you can still find a REAL burger. There are too many of these $15-$20 “gourmet” burger places out there. But this? This place is a real gem. Perfectly priced and amazing flavor with the perfect amount of fat. 10/10 perfection in a bun.

Good quality burgers, malts, friendly service and reasonable prices. Burgers come with double patties. Onion rings are big with yummy horseradish sauce. Malts are topped with whipped cream & a cherry. All that for $31.50. Rustic, barn-style interior feels comfortable, with a few booths, counter seating.

Fish Fry 11/7/24 – hey gang, I tried the gluten-free, beer-battered cod dinner. It’s very good. Nice golden crust, tasty cod, seasoned Tator Tots, coleslaw & tartar sauce. Two or three-piece offers. Yum!
