Was invited for an event, however the moment you walk in you feel the hometown welcoming vibe like you belong, not usual for Staten Island. They offer sangria which was good but the food was just knocked it out the park sooooo delicious. I wasn’t even hungry but my friends decided to order so I figured I’d also order and I’m so glad I did. Everything tasted fresh and made with tons of love. I got the artichoke pie and added chicken on it, that was just the perfect crunch with a savory taste (so good I forgot a picture )
My friends decided on the Alfredo (which let me tell you is usually not good at pizzerias) but it had this freshness to it I had to try another big bite from her. My other friend got a burrata dish and it too was tasty. I can’t wait to come back for more deliciousness! The staff and owner were lovely ☺️, let us taste a coffee drink she’s offering. I can’t wait to bring my son, see you there.

We had the fried calamari, fried ravioli & chicken parm appetizer all were delicious.
The Pasta ai Carciofi was sooo good! Not a huge portion but enough to not feel overstuffed. We ended with the Nutella pizza which was also great. Small intimate place. Great service. Owner is super nice. Definitely will be back.

Ungaro Pizza is hands down one of our favorite spots! From the moment we walk in, we’re always treated like part of the family, which makes dining here so special. The coal-fired pizza is absolutely fantastic crispy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. Every dish we’ve tried is delicious, from appetizers to desserts, and it’s clear that the kitchen takes pride in every plate. My kids love the calamari!

Ungaro is a MUST try!! From the cozy vibes of the restaurant, the delicious menu options and the friendliness of the staff..you won’t be disappointed!! I highly recommend the Ricotta Toast on from the appetizer section and the delicious coal fired pizza. I had the half and half which was half vodka and half traditional and it was delicious!!

I just came to eat this evening with my family as I have heard many great this about this place. It was a small warm inviting establishment with a great atmosphere. There was a greeting by the owner’s wife on entry and exit which was nice. The service was just good, not exeptional. On the other hand, the food we ordered was great. We started with Fried Calamare which was cooked perfectly, a bread dish with regular and vodka sauces which was very tasty, potato croquettes which were nice and the coal fired buffalo wing which were among the best I’ve had. On to dinner which we ordered two pizzas the combination traditional and vodka sauce pie which was very good both the traditional and vodka were nice and tasty. Our second pie was the Artichoke Spinach pie which was the star of the night for us, it was good creamy and flavorful. Overall, this was a nice place with good atmosphere and even better pizza, would recommend and definitely come to visit again.

I truly believe in this quote by Baruch Spinoza, “Everything excellent is as difficult as it is rare.” It was fine Sunday afternoon when I craved for a brick oven pizza. My gf recommended this place. This cozy restaurant has left the best impressions. The ambiance is very welcoming. The service is exceptional. The staff truly cares about our experience. I usually order pizza – which I ABSOLUTELY LOVE! “Pepperoni Sicilian with Hot Honey & Fresh Basil!” – Crust is crisp but soft – like focaccia. The cheese pull still on point even after delivery. But my BF & I decided to dine in on date night and we were so happy we did, we brought the kids for family dinner and my sister for her 21 Bday all in the same month.
Courteous & Attentive staff.
Cute & comfortable but stylish little spot – it’s like a “IYKYK”
Mexican coke! Always a +++
Highly recommend for a “calm and vibey & literally THE BEST PIZZA on the island”kind of outing!

I have had the pastas, appetizers and pizzas…ALL DELICIOUS! The wife is sooo nice and they are very welcoming. The place is small but I always get a table. Seriously you should try this place and you’ll find yourself coming back again and again. The staff is young but professional. A real Mom and Pop place. One of my favorite places.
