I came here with some family for the first time and we had a very good experience. The food is excellent here. I honestly do not think that you can choose anything that’s not amazing. The service is also very good. My wife ordered the Irish Mac & Cheese, which was very delicious. It was a large amount of food. My dad ordered the MacGyver sandwich which is a corn beef sandwich with Swiss and it was very good. I suspect they make their own corn beef in house because it was delicious. For myself, I ordered the comfort bowl which is a large bowl with mashed potatoes and gravy, finger steaks, cheese, and corn. What else do you need? To wash everything down we ordered some of their home-crafted sodas, the root beer and the ginger ale. The root beer had a soft tan-brown color which I thought was interesting. The ginger ale had some thickness to it, which was peculiar, but the flavor was good. I recommend the Magic Valley Brewery.

Lady that owns the place is an absolute bully. I wish I could say what I wanted about her. The stories I’ve also heard from family and a friend is crazy. You think you get to treat people like that? Who are you? NOBODY without the customers. Your attitude is pathetic and the service matches. You won’t be in business long at this rate. At least we can hope someone takes over. Your poor attitude is now starting to spread far and wide. Never be back and I’ll be your greatest advertisement to spread your truth.

The service here was above and beyond, no question. Try the rootbeer and the cream soda. These were so good we didn’t even get to trying the beers, and I feel bad about that.
The fish and chips were solid. As was the patty melt. The steak fries were the winners though.
As is mentioned in a few other reviews, they do like their horseradish in some of the sauces. As long as you know that going in, life will be better.
Long story short, this is a great place to eat in this fun little town.

We were told that this place was an excellent place to eat. We found it to be mediocre at best. It seems someone is trying to hard to be good. The beer battered fries were overcooked and no beer batter taste. The pretzels with beer cheese sauce was grainy and tasteless. The chicken pot pie was very odd tasting. The beer battered fish was overpowered with the taste of beer. The mac n cheese was dull

What a fabulous find! We had a great lunch and thoroughly enjoyed the avocado BLT–the bacon had deep flavor and all the ingredients were fresh and flavorful. Heather was very knowledgable about the beers and helped me find the perfect one. The jalapeno IPA does pair well with the BLT! The potato salad was scrumptious as were the chili cheese fries. Had a fun chat with the team and will look forward to visiting their new beer garden when we are back in Magic Valley!!

Visited Magic Valley Brewing October 2, 2025 for dinner. Unfortunately, we neglected to ask the name of our server, because she was very helpful and very pleasant. There were good beers for every taste (porter, stout, brown and red for us). Great brewer, we will absolutely be back.

Stopped by for some drinks on our way to the hot pools. Waitress who I’d never seen before in my life immediately started busting my chops before I’d even ordered my first beer. A+ experience, would 100% recommend.

Passing through Buhl today and decided to stop here. The service was awesome and so was the food and beer. Prices were reasonable as well. Nothing is deep fried here. Nice outdoor patio out back. Wish we lived closer.

Great! Friendly service, they offer a wide variety of beers and food options. We shared Idaho mashed potatoes with meatballs, mushrooms and gravy; it was delicious home cooking! The three dark beers we tried each had their own great flavor. Nice bar decor.
