Rising Star Chinese Restaurant absolutely lives up to its name. The space is spotless and well-kept, which immediately sets the tone for a great dining experience. The staff is friendly, attentive, and provides genuinely good service without ever feeling rushed.
The food quality was outstanding — everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. Portion sizes were impressively generous, especially considering how affordable the prices are. It really feels like you get tremendous value for your money here.

The ONLY reason I’m giving them a 4 star review is because the crab Rangoon’s needed more filling. But other than that the food was delicious ! We ordered takeout and it was warm from the moment we picked it up to when we brought it home. We ordered the orange chicken which was spicy, crispy and delicious. Veggie lo mein also delicious & the noodles were nice and tender. We also got potstickers and they were so flavorful.

Up to 2024, this place served good noodle dishes (lo mein, chow mein, and chow fun). Their strength was that the vegetables were cooked just right. I think there was a change of ownership in 2024 or 2025. After two bad experiences in 2025, I tried this place one last time in 2026. The vegetables were overcooked and bitter. The noodles themselves, not great but okay pre-2024, were also overcooked.

Rising Star is so good. The food is amazing and you can tell it’s made in-house… fresh and full of flavor. The customer service is just as great. Everyone is super polite, friendly, and actually pays attention to you, which is always appreciated. Just an all-around solid spot that does things right. Definitely recommend!

A good place for American-Chinese food. We enjoyed the lunch specials,which includes a spring roll, and a few pots of Jasmine tea. Service is good, no reservations, so we waited just a few minutes for a table for four.
