During a recent road trip across the country, I found myself in Huntsville, Alabama, where a friendly receptionist recommended that I check out TRIO while waiting for my USMC buddy. I’m glad I took her advice!
The exterior of the establishment is clean and inviting, setting a positive tone right from the start. As I entered, I was greeted by vibrant red decor, which I loved—it added a lively atmosphere to the place. The bar is prominently placed at the front, and I opted to head right, which felt more suitable for my situation.
Feeling a bit adventurous and quite hungry after a long drive from Nashville, we decided to order a variety of dishes from the menu. I went for the chicken and mashed potatoes, complemented by a side of cornbread, mac and cheese, and candied yams. My friend chose the steak with the same sides. We also shared the spring rolls, and everything was simply delightful!
Each dish was bursting with flavor, and it was the perfect way to refuel after a day on the road. If you’re in Huntsville, TRIO is definitely worth a visit!

The food was delicious. We were uncertain at first but we’re certainly reassured by Lele. This is definitely a must. Happy Hour is good & pricing in general is affordable. I’ll definitely return. We started eating before my pics so don’t judge, it was goodt!

Listen ! I’m in top 10% for google reviews in the world lol hear me out ! I’m from Huntsville but I travel often and eat good all across the world i always say we need a good food spot at home and here it is yummy ! Everything was good! We all tried different dishes and everything was a 10/10 ! All the foods were made fresh and from scratch and as soon as we ordered the food was coming out in 10min piping hot and fresh! Nothing was canned . Fish crispy ! Southern fried smothered chicken breast juicy , seasoned and crunchy perfectly. The white gravy taste like your grandmothers fie ! The collards with smoked turkey delicious so happy no pork was in it 10/10 the cornbread omg soft moist not to sweet but sweet from scratch . The sweet potatoes was cut by hand and cooked with love. The okra was good too. The tropical Long Island was perfect not sour not too sweet or strong and i was buzzing in minutes. The customer service was excellent very attentive. The owner sent us free shots just because and greeted us. The chef personally came to our table . The prices went down since opening i was shocked to get a whole meal with two sides for $16 plus my drink my ticket was only $28 ! That’s love. I can’t wait until they add oxtail to the menu. Oh and the space , private room and aesthetic is very beautiful and pleasing. This is my new favorite spot yall please try them out .

✨Great place, great food!✨ Enjoyed the fried fish and the SIDES! Recommend the Lamb Chops, they have excellent flavor. The Mac and Cheese is MACing! And the corn bread here, my GAWD! Greens are solid.

I’m going to give my dead honest truth about my experience at TRIO, and it was honestly very disappointing.
The food was decent, but even that came with issues. The salmon had problems and had to be fixed or replaced, which already set the tone for the night.
The drinks were absolutely terrible. They took an extremely long time to come out and tasted like there was little to no liquor in them. Even ordering simple shots took forever, which is unacceptable for a bar setting.
Our server was polite, but that’s about the only positive thing I can say. She clearly had no idea what was going on, had little understanding of the menu or flow of service, and seemed completely unprepared. If she was new, she should not have been left on the floor without proper training because it severely impacted our experience.
The music was low, dull, and depressing, killing any chance of a vibe. The atmosphere felt lifeless and forgettable.
Overall, this was a poor experience from start to finish. Nothing stood out, nothing impressed me, and there is absolutely no reason that would make me want to come back.

Chill vibes and music, best Rasta Pasta I’ve had since coming back from Costa Rica. Will get a lot of business from me. Food is great!!! Servers are efficient and friendly.

This was my first time at this establishment. And sad to say I don’t think I will be returning. I tried it because a friend suggested it. My friend and I went and when we arrived we were told by the hostess or whoever that we could sit anywhere. It was about 20 minutes before anyone came to our table and asked us had we been taken care of. Meanwhile, during that time there were who I assumed to be servers sitting down, laughing and playing on their phones. Finally a really nice server, not of that group, came and took our order. She was kind and very helpful. The food was delicious and the drinks were good. I also tipped her well because that wasn’t her section, but she stepped in. Management needs to step up and train their workers on how to be more professional.

I visited this past weekend during the daytime, and unfortunately the service at the bar wasn’t very attentive. We frequently had to flag down servers walking by just to get items we needed. The bartender seemed forgetful and spent a lot of time off to the side talking with friends which we later found out was actually the manager.
That part of the experience was disappointing, but I do want to give credit where it’s due. We spoke with one of the owners, Blake, and he stepped in and helped rectify the situation, which was appreciated.
The food was good and the atmosphere was enjoyable overall. I’ll be back, but next time I’ll probably choose to sit at a table instead.

I was extremely disappointed with my meal. The fish had a strong taste of old oil and lacked seasoning, which made it unpleasant and difficult to eat. The mashed potatoes were also of very poor quality, lacking flavor and having an unappealing texture.Additionally, the egg rolls did not match the description provided and were, unfortunately, not enjoyable either. Overall, the meal did not reflect the quality or freshness I expected.
