I always get lasagna and it’s always good. Tried the cookie pizza thought it would be a cookie shaped like a pizza, but it’s made with actual dough. It wasn’t good, to me. But other than that always good.

To start off I never leave reviews unless it’s an exceptionally good experience or exceptionally bad, unfortunately this was exceptionally bad!! They advertise as authentic New York style pizza, this is the furthest from New York pizza, the only comparison I could make to accurately describe how bad their pizza is would be to compare it to a low grade frozen pizza as I can think of many frozen pizza’s that would far exceed their low quality, the dough is extremely soft and soggy, they put enough sauce on the pizza that you could literally call it a soup, and I asked for extra cheese and ended up with barely any cheese, also asked for pepperoni and there was 8 max on the entire pizza, not to mention that I got an extremely bad stomach ache from the little that I did eat and the only reason I ate more than a bite was because I was starving but still couldn’t stomach more than a slice and a half, I really don’t like leaving bad comments like this but I will in hopes that I can save some people from the horrendous experience I had. Get with the program! People work hard for their money, if your going to charge $30 for a 16 inch pizza use good quality ingredients and get rid of the slop you using now.

Bertolo’s New York Style Pizza – Simpsonville Location
If you’re looking for authentic, no-frills, delicious New York-style pizza, Bertolo’s is a local gem that delivers every single time. With multiple locations across Greenville—including downtown, Pelham Rd, and Simpsonville—this family favorite has been part of our lives for over 15 years, and it continues to exceed expectations.
We love the Simpsonville location especially because of the massive 20” pizza pies—perfect for family dinners or sharing with friends. The crust is crisp yet chewy, the sauce is flavorful, and the cheese blend is just right. You can taste the quality and consistency that comes from decades of experience.
The staff is always welcoming and friendly, creating a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere. The lobby and bathrooms are impressively clean, and the fountain Pepsi products are always ice cold. The décor is modern and tasteful—not overwhelming—which adds to the comfortable dining experience.
If you haven’t tried Bertolo’s yet, do yourself a favor and stop in. Whether you’re grabbing a quick slice or a full pie to share, you won’t be disappointed.
Highly recommend. A staple in the Upstate.

5 stars all around! The pizza and other food options here are top notch. It is our go to pizza place! It is also so time convenient when we have busy work nights and don’t have the time to cook. The staff and owner are so sweet and personable! Highly recommend!

We get carry out a lot but decided to have lunch here today. We had a coupon and drank water, so total was $20 before tip. Pizza was hot and cheesy. Crust was chewy and sauce was a little chunk and flavorful. Excellent and came out quickly. We will continue to frequent this local favorite.

Bertolo’s is a great neighborhood pizzeria. They’ve got New York style pizza and Sicilian. They also offer hot and cold subs, calzones, pasta dishes, garlic knots and I think canolis. I usually get one of the lunch specials if I eat in. If you’re in the area, I’d recommend stopping by and checking out Bertolo’s.
