The food was amazing. All the ingredients tasted fresh and high quality. The flavors were well balanced and complex. Generous portions at such a reasonable price.
Highly recommend the spicy braised beef noodle soup with the signature housemade noodles. The noodles were cooked to perfection with a nice bite and chewiness without being doughy, and were flavorful thanks for the rich broth. The soup has a kick which was entirely welcome and the spice paired well with the sourness, cutting through the heaviness of both the beef and the wheat noodles. Will definitely be back to enjoy more!
The green peppercorn fish noodle soup was light and clean without any fishiness ruining the dish. I would want more peppercorn flavor though for me to strongly recommend.
The food was dry pot, but I felt that the seafood might have been over-fried and was a bit dry, but the potato and cauliflower were delicious.
Seafood dry pot $48
Iron beef is poor quality and a bit hard to chew.$18
Service is fast and friendly .
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Simmer Huang / Miao Grill in Daly City, and I can confidently say it’s one of the best hidden gems in the area for flavorful, authentic Chinese cuisine.
The Mini Beef Rib Spicy Dry was the standout for me—juicy, fall-off-the-bone ribs tossed in a dry spice mix that delivered bold flavor with a nice kick of heat.
We also ordered both the Beef and Lamb Skewers, and they did not disappoint. Perfectly grilled, well-seasoned, and incredibly juicy, these skewers brought back memories of street food in China—smoky, tender, and irresistible.
The atmosphere is casual but cozy, the service was friendly, and the portions were generous for the price. Whether you’re craving spicy dry pot, skewers, or a quick bite with friends, this spot delivers. Definitely coming back to try more dishes!
Highly recommend!
