I avoided Starbucks for YEARS because of their politics. I have tried to compromise because of my girlfriend and trying to look past things. Their pistachio Latte is to die for but the service at this store is really slow. I asked for my Loaf to be warmed and I get it cold. I asked the woman at the window to warm it and she said it was. I said to her if they weren’t so slow it would still be warm. She took it back and threw it away and said there was none left. Look I get it when a coffee shop is busy. Higher more people. With an 8 dollar coffee and a 3 dollar piece of bread you should be able to higher more people. Oh one more thing, just think how much time you could save by not writing all the stupid little messages on people’s coffee cups.

I stopped into the Starbucks in Port St. Lucie off Wayne Street today just before 8:00 AM to pick up a simple mobile order (one cold brew). For context, I was virtually the only customer in the store, and there was no one in the drive-thru when I interacted with one of their male employee.
As I was grabbing my order, I politely asked, “Could I bother you for a pup cup?” I wasn’t expecting him to drop everything immediately or rush to get it on the spot, but his response was: “I’m a little busy at the moment.”
That kind of answer might be technically true, but it’s not remotely good customer service. A basic, respectful response would have been something like, “Sure, I’ll be right with you,” or “Give me one moment and I’ll get that for you.” Instead, it came off dismissive and rude, especially given how calm the store was at the time.
What’s frustrating is this isn’t a one-off experience. This same employee is consistently unpleasant, and it’s reached the point where I’m done giving this location chances. Companies underestimate how much a single negative employee interaction can affect a brand, especially at a specific store. Going forward, I will happily drive twice as far to go to the Starbucks off Gatlin or St. Lucie West before I return to this one.
I would honestly be surprised if I’m the first person to complain about this employee, and I doubt I’ll be the last if he continues working here. Starbucks is usually known for friendly, welcoming service, and this location is not meeting that standard.
Lily, as the general manager of this location, I hope you take the necessary steps to retrain your staff on basic, bare minimum customer service skills.

I ordered a White Chocolate Mocha through the drive-thru. Since I was driving, I couldn’t check it at the window. When I tried it later, it was almost all milk, with no chocolate or coffee flavor at all. I order this drink regularly and know how it is supposed to taste.
Based on my experience and the many reviews I’ve seen, something is clearly going wrong at this location. At this time, it’s not a good place to visit.

Every time I go to the drive-thru and this guy with stubble facial hair and a raspy voice takes my order, I know it’s going to be a bad experience. I come here very often, and ten out of ten times he has been rude to me. I don’t care if he doesn’t crack a smile to greet customers; it’s the way he speaks with an obvious attitude, as if someone forced him to work there. I feel like I paid Starbucks prices to receive Dunkin’ attitude.
I’ve never met any other staff at this location who are this rude. A friend of mine is also a regular customer and said they had the same experience with the same guy. He gave them an attitude when they requested a remake of their drink because the order was messed up. The barista was happy to remake it, but when the guy handed the drink back, he showed an attitude as if he were the one who had made it.

I come here pretty often since this location is close to me, but this is the worst Starbucks in this area. I can never get my drink correct I’ve explained each time I order it to please make it light or extra extra. But I still receive it dark. Any other location i go to they make it perfect. But today was the last straw when receiving my drink with a lid that is for a frap or drink with whip cream top. I asked why does it have this lid and they said they ran out okay fine now I see they have a drink for the people behind me ready with a normal lid I asked him in his face if their is no normal lid how does the person behind me have one? He said they used the last one??? Ummm hello they are behind me? I’m not sure if he lied because he is annoyed of me or what but I mean I’m paying $6.00 for a coffee the least I can get is for it to be correct. It was so bad I did not even drink it I went to another location and they remade it and even agreed the drink looked very bad for what I asked for I shouldn’t have to go to another location to get my drink correct. Point is this location lacks customer service skills and they need better training on making drinks.

Been here about 5-6 times and each and every time was trash I would never come to this location again. The line is wrapped around the building. It takes you about 45 minutes just to get your order nine times out of 10 the stuff you have a craving for is never even in stock so you have to go to another location and then once they do have what you want once you try to give them a grace of chance they mess up your order. I asked for a Venti gingerbread chai and they gave me a gingerbread iced coffee latte. The one on St. Lucie West has never done me wrong yet so I will no longer ever be coming back to this location. I tried giving them multiple chances multiple chances to prove that they’re OK, but they’re not. I will stick to my St. Lucie West location from now on because they never haven’t done me wrong yet.

Starbucks rarely disappoints and for the most part this one didn’t either. However there was a party going on that was really loud and we couldn’t hear each other talk. But the people were very well behaved and having fun so it wasn’t a really big deal and wouldn’t stop a good review or keep me from going back or recommending it.
