Went with a big group, and got seated immediately, which was nice.
Now, I love different, but this girl also loves some nice comfort food, and Calabama doesn’t disappoint in that arena
The atmosphere inside is laid back, and our waitress was awesome.
Like I said, I love me some just good homey food, so I got a grilled ham and cheese sandwich with some sweet potato fries, and my MIL got grilled chicken sandwich and some tots.

Food is on point! My chicken fried steak was probably the best I’ve ever had. It was hand battered and had no greasy taste. The butterfly shrimp was also pretty good. Sweat potato fries were delicious and the coleslaw was fresh tasting. The waitress was really friendly and the atmosphere was peaceful. They also had fresh homemade desserts. I took home to strawberry rhubarb muffins, they were absolutely delicious. This is a great place to dine, I definitely will be back. Highly recommended!

This little diner had great food options, good service, and decent prices. I ordered the Philly cheese steak and it was delicious. We also ordered the fried pickles as an appetizer and they were delicious as well. If you’re ever in the Franklin area I recommend stopping by for a visit!
