Where do I even start? Tuscany Bistro is the best dinner spot in Kenosha, and it isn’t even close. My wife and I went there on a whim for my birthday after a coworker recommended it to me, and it has become our favorite place.
We love to start with some martinis and fried ravioli, followed by some bread and soup. Our toddler also loves the ravioli, soup, and bread. My wife consistently gets the filet, but I have also had the Lamb, chicken/veal picatta, lobster tail, etc. It is delicious every time. My favorite special so far has probably been the pork shank over risotto. We usually finish with Tiramisu and/or the cheesecake flight. The photo is from one of my birthdays when I didn’t eat all day and then splurged on 2 meals.
The staff is great. I have to give a huge shout out to Anita, Brandon, and Mandy. The team overall is solid, but those 3 have really stood out to my family.
Last, but certainly not least, Theresa (owner) is amazing. She got to know us as we came in for “date night”, and despite our initial reluctance to bring in our son when he was a baby, she encouraged us to bring him with us and really fostered a family environment. I know that many places will turn their noses up at you for bringing a small child to a nicer establishment, but Theresa has always been amazing and pops by the table to say hi to us and our son.
In conclusion, Tuscany is the best, and you should go there next time you are eating out.

Lentil soup was 100 out of 100. Bread was hard and stale they served with dinner. Olive oil and garlic a seasoning with it was great. Bolognese had great noodles but sauce lacked flavor and was to thin. Overall good food but seems to be hit or miss most times I go. They are content on being a good restaurant not a great one. Service was exceptional so they have that down. busboys and waiter Brandon were on point. Ambience is ok. Prices reasonable.

An absolute delight. Had a wonderful anniversary dinner, Tuscany did not disappoint. Our Server Adele met us with a candle lit table and a cute anniversary sign on the table. We had the mussels, the lamb, the pescatoria pasta. Everything was delicious. Don’t sleep on the home made olive oil and bread! The ambiance was also great and the cherry on top was a rich and creamy tiramisu to wrap things up. Don’t miss out on this lovely jewel in Kenosha! Would definetly come back

Tuesday August 2025: I stopped at Tuscany for a delicious and authentic Italian dinner.
I started my night off with the sangria, which is a favorite of mine, I love the flavors from the cinnamon and the cherry brandy. It’s fruity, delicious, and goes down just a little too easy!
For dinner, I had the Linguini Carbonara with a side salad and some bread with garlic oil. The garlic is rich, powerful, and perfect for garlic lovers alike. The carbonara was decadent, creamy, and extremely filling. Everything was delicious!
I also want to comment on the service. I receive the best service when I dine at Tuscany and Chef Theresa is almost always there when I visit. She walks around the restaurant to check how things are going, she greets guests, clears tables, and she makes you feel like family. She does it all and she is wonderful!

Went there to have a nice dinner with relatives from out of town.
The greeting at the door was your table is ready you have an hour and one half dining time. We were seated in the back room that was set up for two large parties. The waiter was very accommodating. The hostess walked into the room and checked her watch checking on our time limit. We where at the one hour mark. Then she did it again 5 minutes later. I felt this was rude and uncalled for. I’ve had better Italian food at family restaurants that treat you like family not a number. This was my first time back in a few years and probably the last.

I am a drug-rep out of Brookfield Wisconsin. I went in to meet a client and from the moment I walked in I was welcomed into a happy environment. I had made reservations and had told the host Frankie that I had reservations and was waiting for my client to arrive. Frankie was very nice asked if I needed anything or would like to see a menu since I had never been there before. Brandon was our server who was such a delight. He was kind and explained the specials perfectly. Even the buss boys were super friendly and made my time at Tuscany great! Would definitely recommend the food is amazing and so is the people! Great espresso martinis too!

We tried to go this evening but were told we could only sit in the bar area which had just had a large group filing in. We asked for a table in the dining room (due to noise of said group) but were told she could only offer one small table off to the side between a wall and a pillar which was a tiny two top. We opted to decline and will certainly not be back. We live within a mile and this is the 2nd to 3rd time there has been some sort of an issue. Would not recommend to anyone and will most likely tell anyone we see of this last experience. #RestaurantWeekFails

The food was better the mega chain. The service on the other hand, was just rude. The hostess greeted us, then walked away for 5 minutes, without a word to us. The server didn’t arrive for long time, when he did he said he had to drop off some boxes and would be back. So, when he came back 10 minutes later, we told him we were ready to order. He explained the specials and abruptly left, without taking our orders. When we got his attention again, we ordered apps, salad, and entrees. He was very annoyed that we ordered everything at once. This isn’t an $100 a plate. Type of place. When our food arrived he would bot set it down. He just held it weirdly above the table waiting for someone to take it from him. He made every interaction bad.
