Would give it 6 stars if I could.
I’ve gotten their pizza since they’ve opened & it’s always been great.
Now my family & I started getting entrees too, and it might be the best Italian takeout I’ve ever gotten.
We’ve had their vodka Parm, chicken broccoli rabe hero, baked ziti, spaghetti & meatballs, etc.
Great meatballs (and I usually don’t like restaurant meatballs)
So many places have shrunk portions, stretched ingredients, etc. since 2020, and Mozzafiato seems like it’s done the opposite.
Portions are huge & entree/pasta prices are more reasonable than our usual go-to Italian place in Stony Brook.

I came to write a review and wanted to see if other people had the same declining experience. After reading reviews, management is blatantly nasty and unapologetic to any sort of criticism. My family has been coming here since they opened almost weekly and ordered catering. Everyone used to be so nice. Over the past year or so it’s been hit or miss and I’ve continued to go because their food was once great. Not sure if the owners or chefs changed but something certainly did. The food quality has gone down and it’s not the same friendly local spot it once was. I ordered the eggplant parm dinner tonight and I love salt but I asked my wife if it was salty and she also said yes. It was way too salty and acidic to eat more than the first two bites. I would’ve called to discuss but seeing the customer service listed in the review I didn’t want to waste my time. Reviews are meant to give you feedback to improve on whatever the issues there are, not to blame the customer. It’s unfortunate because this was a family favorite.

I just wanted to say how much I love their food! The pizza is great, wide variety of choices. I ordered this Grilled Chicken Bruschetta entree which sounded amazing and it didnt disappoint- it was delicious.

We just received a pizza and I was extremely disappointed. It was cold, tough, burnt and tasted old. My kids wouldn’t even touch it. It was very frustrating to have to cook dinner for my kids after a long day which is why I ordered a pizza in the first place. I have some pictures of the pizza that was delivered. We have eaten at the restaurant a couple of times and it was good. But I don’t think I will be ordering takeout again.

This place is a rip-off, the prices are outrageous. More expensive than any other pizza place I’ve ever been too.
Paying 5$ for a Sicilian slice or 8$ for a specialty slice is absolutely wild. But they are ALWAYS delicious. The pizza is the best in Suffolk as far as I’m concerned, but these prices are downright greedy.
Hard to support them because of it. Pizza is supposed to be a cheap meal, paying 40$+ for 4 specialty slices and 2 sodas is absolutely diabolical.

Crazy pizza slices. Hot Nashville chicken, bang bang chicken, Mexican street corn, cheesesteak, along with classics eggplant parm. The tomato sauce has depth. Worth searching this spot out.

I have been looking for a good pizza place in Centereach for quite some time. This one blows away all of the neighboring pizzerias. I felt so comfortable bringing my family in for a few slices of pizza and he had more types of pizza than I could ever hope for. The staff was well versed and how Pizza should be made and was nothing but kind and courteous to everyone that entered the place. This was opening night and I am so impressed with it I can’t wait to go back. I know he has a full kitchen with a full menu that I can’t wait to try

My go-to pizzeria in the area. They have well-done and double-cut options when ordering online which is nice. Their hero’s are also delicious. One time I had an issue with my order, where someone else took it, or they accidentally gave it to them by mistake and they compensated me for the inconvenience, a professional move and excellent customer service. As a regular who’s been going there for years, that’s the only issue I’ve ever had and it was handled well. It’s a cozy spot to sit down at too and always appears very clean.

Eaten here many times before. The last few times the orders have bin off. But yesterday the sauce tasted very off almost tangy and sour it has never tasted like this before. The sauce to dip the garlic knots was worse then the pizza was. Hate to say was not edible. I hate to say it about this place. I ordered a regular cheese pizza 12 knots and mozzarella sticks all sauce did not taste right. Saying something went wrong would have bin a better answer or sorry there is no way we are the only ones that had a issue thay night. I work in the food industry 20 plus years things get messed up. Can see from other reviews you refuse to take fault for anything wrong.
