The food was really good, the staff was amazing, and the atmosphere made it feel like you were in the 1920s! I ordered the hot dogs with fries and the hot dogs were delicious as well as the fries which taste like real cut potatoes.
All in all I really like this quaint little diner and will definitely stop by in the future!

My wife, my mother and I stopped in for dinner on a Saturday night. The atmosphere and the decor of this restaurant are wonderfully unique and nostalgic. We ended up ordering breakfast items because you kno, why not? The food was very good (the Meat Lovers Omelet is a personal recommend). For anyone visiting, place your dessert orders early because they’re a high-demand menu item and with good reason (the caramel apple pie is another personal recommend). Our meal was made even better by our conversation with our server. She gave us a complete history of the restaurant and made our experience enjoyable. If you’re in Towanda, be sure to stop by. We’ll definitely be back.

This diner is adorable!!! We drove through on our way home from the Finger Lakes and lucked into it being open on Sunday. A tiny space, cozy, friendly, and warm. We had a party of 4 and sat at the bar. The server was so friendly and attentive. The burger and taco salad were yummy—the taco shell was house made, the lettuce green and plentiful. We’d definitely eat here again on our future travels. (Someone else got pancakes that looked delicious.)

A cloudy, cold winter day. Stumbled into the New Red Rose Diner with a friend. Hot steaming meat loaf with gravy. Mashed potatoes with just the right amount of lumps. A pile of broccoli so green, that it promises spring will return soon. Ahh… comfort food! Treat yourself to a real meal. Historic diner, lovely owners.

People of Towanda – what a gem you have here on main st.!!!! I had a fantastic, wholesome, homemade dinner on a snowy night this week…the owners are legit food people, took great care of me and the food was superb…. This place is like a step back in time and what wonderful hosts they are!! I enjoyed my experience here so much I went back the next day for breakfast !! Please, central PA…..run to this place !!!

We have become “regulars” at this great little diner! From the first time we decided to try it, to the 50+ times we’ve probably eaten here since, it’s consistently delicious, has fast service, and they are always so friendly. We’ve tried so many different meals and love it all, great homemade food. We have been there for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Can’t say enough great things….it’s certainly a gem!
