Huevos Rancheros had a nice mix of flavors. It was mildly spicy, with a rich tomato-based sauce and a touch of salty Mexican cheese. The avocado was very fresh. My favorite part was the roasted pepper. It was cooked perfectly, soft but still holding its fresh texture and shape. Overall it was a appetizing breakfast. The French toast was a bit on the sweet side, although that seems to be typical for French toast. It paired well with coffee. The restaurant has a bright, cheerful atmosphere that puts you in a good mood. Since it is located in the Galleria area, the prices tend to be on the higher side. If plan to spend time in the mall, it’s a nice place to start. Otherwise, could find other more affordable options nearby

SCAM ALERT. CHECK YOUR RECEIPT because this place is quick to add HIDDEN CHARGES if you don’t DO YOUR OWN MATH. Came in and met immediately with a server who didn’t seem to want to be there. Middle of the road type restaurant where the food was decent, the decor was alright, and we were the only ones there. When the check came, I noticed an extra $5 to my subtotal. When I ask the waitress, she gets defensive and says it’s because I ordered an cocktail (Old Fashioned) and it’s an “up” charge for serving cocktails (so $5 for bitters?). It doesn’t say that anywhere in the menu, she didn’t say it when I ordered, nor did she attempt to explain it when the check came so I already knew she couldn’t be trusted. Disappointing ordeal because we saw it was empty so we chose it to help support the restaurant but got treated horribly. Wouldn’t recommend. Only tipped $5 because of the scam.

This restaurant is located at the Westin Oaks and situated in The Galleria shopping centre. We were here for a brunch on Sunday while waiting for shops in the mall to open.
It has a nice Weekend Brunch menu but the food was really ordinary. Nothing really special that we can say about except for the waffle. It was perfect. Light, well made and delicious.
Not much of atmosphere inside. A little stale I must say. I’m sure the management can look into improving the decor and interior to make it more inviting. Also to be more creative in presenting their food. A little extra thing goes a long way!
Service was fine. Staff was attentive and helpful.

Hmmm… is my bottom line here. Not memorable enough for the price. We were enticed by the advertisement in the galleria that featured a burger that really spoke to my husband. I was excited about the various dietary options they mentioned in the ad and so we went excited to have a somewhat upscale experience for lunch. When we arrived the place was empty except for one other couple. There was no music so the atmosphere felt cold and bare even though it has nice decor. Our male server made us wait a very long time for our drinks and food, it turns out he was getting ready to go home because we were transferred to another server, a woman so he could go home. She was so much better that he was, I think her name was Marielena. She was attentive, kind, and kept checking on us. She is a good server. The food was good, nice and hot with great presentation but because of the wait, the quiet, and the price for it all, it ended up feeling a little forgettable in the end. Like we could have gotten a better experience or a better value somewhere else.

The watermelon fritz was good too, but could use more vodka. The cheesecake was pretty good too, but the chocolate cake was not that good, too dry.

We were visiting Houston for the first time and staying at a hotel near the Galleria. After checking out the food court, we decided to find a sit-down restaurant instead. White Oak was a middle-of-the-road option on price, so we gave it a try. The food was great. The servers were nice enough. Time to get our food seemed a bit long, seeing as we were one of maybe 4 tables in the place during the afternoon we were there. The atmosphere is great; the design and decorations are top-notch. Definitely try the Brussels sprout appetizer!

3 pancakes, just ok. 3 bacon, crispy and delicious. 2 eggs wonderful, $34, ridiculous. I was hungry and it was the closest place. Dennys, waffle house, even McDonalds would have been just satisfying. Skip breakfast at this spot, try lunch or dinner. The price of the food might better match lunch or dinner. Breakfast is cheap and easy. No imagination is required. Service was great. Atmosphere was nice. My overall impression was a 3 out of 5. I would recommend going to a run of the mill breakfast place.

Happen to be staying at the Westin for work and I’m a total foodie, didn’t have time to go far so reluctantly stopped in for lunch. Was so pleasantly surprised, had the budda bowl- clean, delicious, and filling. It was pretty and Colorful I wish I took a picture! Would Recommend this place exception for people who wouldn’t normally eat at the mall!
