Visited this Subway while I was in Socorro and was really hungry, so I ordered a footlong sandwich. It was fresh and hit the spot. They offer a 10% student discount. The staff was friendly. Overall, a solid stop for a quick and fresh meal.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. The manager Garret, or as he likes to call himself “sir asswaldo”, is as inefficient as a 3yo throwing a tantrum. This is the 3rd time I have visited this location and was ignored by the grey haired man and the manger for over 15 minutes while I was standing at the counter watching one make online orders (3 to be exact) and run them outside to cars while the manager swept the lobby and texted on his phone. Then, finally after 2 more customers walked in the manager decided to work and came behind the counter. He told his employee that he would not help me and ignored me, not even making eye contact like a reasonable human being. Willard then made my sandwich and put it to toast. Garret pulled it out and pulled Willard off of sandwiches back to veggies once again telling him he wouldn’t help me. Willard must’ve thought this was a hoot, and ok to continue the horrible service with his managers approval. Literally 3 lettuce slices and one tomato because I asked him to put easy veggies. They ruined both of my sandwiches. Over $20 of trash. This manager has something against me because my son worked for him and he treated him so poorly that he was forced to quit. He has tried to get me in trouble at my place of business and comes in as a manager representing subway and is extremely rude to me at my place of employment but doesn’t even have to juevos to look at me when I come in to his. I treat him with the utmost respect at my place of business and I expect the same in return. If he wasn’t so busy treating his rotating door of employees like dirt and trying to fondle and date the underage girls that work with him maybe he would have time to act appropriately as a manager at some point. I asked Willard for the district managers number, he smiled and told he didn’t have it, while looking for approval from his “manager”. I will be calling corporate. Garret, simply put, do your job. The only reason you manage this place is because they couldn’t find anyone’s else unintelligent enough to take your pay to run a store. And it clearly shows!

I really wish this hadn’t happened, but I became sick and threw up later that evening after eating a meatball sub here. I can’t say for certain what caused it, but the timing was concerning enough to mention.

I visited this Subway while passing through on my way to Colorado. I ordered an oven roasted turkey sandwich through the app, and it was ready right when I arrived. The staff was extremely nice and hospitable, which made the quick stop a pleasant experience. The restaurant itself is spacious, very clean, and well maintained. Definitely a great spot to grab a meal while on the road.

There’s an old man who works here.
He’s incredibly rude and ignorant
I avoid going into the shop when his truck is there
Every time I would go in he would display the greatest disgust that I was there.
At first I thought he was just a grumpy dude or that he was having a bad day but the attitude continued
He would argue with me and treat me like I was stupid every time I tried to order food.
I was trying not to eat bread, everyone eats too much bread at Subway.
If I wanted to eat bread, I would go buy a loaf.
Because I’m fighting cancer, I choose not to eat the extra bread
I was coming in asking for cups of soups, meats and just having them add a little olives or spinach to the cup- I was trying to keep my meals small like that
I wasn’t asking for Salads because I purchase my salads from the Walmart across the street every day – not from Subway
Across the street, salads are only 2.97 so I wouldn’t spend $10 on a subway salad
This old employee would argue with me every time I came in telling me that I was asking for a salad when I was clearly only asking for meatballs (1.60) + a few olives and or spinach – a very small amount of food
It was actually the other employees who volunteered to add those small extras to the cups of meat I was ordering daily
They would charge me a dollar or two extra for the few olives and five leaves of spinach they would add and that was fine with me
If he was working, I could only get the cup of meat and nothing else & I would have to deal with him throwing a fit about it every time
if I ask him to make the cup for me the way everyone else does, he would get mad, tell me I was ordering a salad, put spinach leaves, olives and meatballs in separate container and charge me $10 instead of $3
I was expected to eat a “meatball salad” of 3 ingredients and without any dressings, pay $10 and be treated like I was annoying and stupid
Every time I would walk in and order anything while he was around, he would begin to shake and look angry.
He would get aggressive & treat the employees & customers rudely because I was there.
He did everything he could to get me to stop walking into the store
Then people started inviting me into subway all the time but only when he was working
I began to wonder if he wasn’t asking them to bring me into the restaurant so that he could be rude or do something to my food
I tried to tell ppl that I couldn’t go in the shop because he was there
I became afraid
Everyone else who works in the store can figure out how to place four meatballs into a cup, throw ten black olives & 2 spinach leaves, charge me $4 & tell me to have a nice day
but this man was physically and mentally incapable of following simple instructions or treating customers with basic respect

02/24/2025 @ 3:09 pm. Always stop here when passing through Socorro .Today the bread was very dry, crumbs made a mess. Only 2 gross fountain drink choices. No pretzels and no churros. Very disappointed. Had to ask for napkins even though she said she had put some in but had not. Please do better because I love Subway. Young girl had a bit of an attitude
