We tried the pantzaria salad and kontosouvli. Pantzaria came with the freshest koulouri and manouri cheese, and it was surprisingly very filling. The pork in kontosouvli was grilled to perfection – juicy and beautifully charred. Seems like you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu.
The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it a perfect spot for date night or a special dinner in Walpole. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. Peyton was our server both times, and she was outstanding—attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely kind.
This is a true hidden gem restaurant in Walpole and a must-visit if you are looking for authentic Greek food near Boston.
We ordered the root mocktail, whipped feta, grilled octopus, lamb chops, and the lemonopita for dessert. Every dish was excellent, and the lemonopita is an absolute must. If you are searching for high-quality Mediterranean and Greek cuisine in Massachusetts, this place delivers every time.
Highly recommend!!!
We started with a variety of dips, and every single one was excellent. The tzatziki was cool and balanced, the hummus was smooth and rich without being heavy, and the eggplant dip had a wonderful smoky flavor. The warm, slightly charred pita bread paired perfectly with everything. We kept going back to the dips again and again.
Most of the people at my table ordered the branzino, and it was outstanding. The fish was grilled beautifully with crisp skin and tender flesh. One detail that I appreciated was that the branzino was fully deboned, which made it easy to enjoy without any work at the table. The seasoning was simple and clean, letting the natural flavor of the fish stand out with a touch of lemon and olive oil.
The service was thoughtful from the moment we sat down. Two water carafes were placed on the table right away, which made things easy for a larger group. I ordered hot tea for four dollars, and they brought a small selection of tea packets so I could choose. They also came by several times to offer free hot water refills. It was a small gesture, but it made the experience feel very cared for.
For dessert, we ordered both the baklava and the lemon pie. The baklava was crisp, sweet, and beautifully layered without being overly sugary. The lemon pie was bright and refreshing, with just the right amount of tartness. Both were excellent and worth saving room for.
For a Tuesday night, the restaurant was completely full and lively. There was a great energy in the room, but it never felt too loud or rushed. The staff managed the crowd smoothly, and everyone at our table felt well taken care of.
Kosmos is the type of restaurant that wins you over quietly but completely. The food is delicious, the branzino was exceptional, the desserts were wonderful, and the service is warm and attentive in all the right ways. I would absolutely return.
There’s also a comfortable white bench outside the restaurant so that you can wait for your car ride. I also like that there was a nice sofa by the restrooms. The restrooms were very clean. The restaurant is entirely handicap accessible.
From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and seated in a beautiful, spotless area. The service was outstanding—attentive, friendly, and professional.
We started with dumplings, grilled chicken, and a feta & honey dish—all bursting with flavor. The sauces were so good we ordered pita bread just to enjoy every drop!
For mains, the pork and lamb chops were perfectly cooked, paired with Greek-style fries topped with feta—unforgettable when dipped in tzatziki sauce.
Dessert was pure bliss: baklava with olive oil ice cream (an unexpectedly perfect match) and the “dessert for two”—a heavenly phyllo & custard creation drizzled with chocolate.
This wasn’t just dinner—it was an experience. Flawless from start to finish. Highly recommended and absolutely worth coming back for!
Well I’ve eaten at a lot of Greek restaurants here and in Greece and this is one of the best places I’ve ever been to, to have a good sit down Greek meal.
Where I live there are great restaurants for any type of cuisine you can imagine and a great Greek restaurant but the one near me is more like the best fast food in Greece. (A gyro wrap is the most traditional Greek fast food you can get).
If people every ask me where to go to try other great Greek dishes, I will tell them to go there, 10 minutes from where I live and and on the eat home come by and drop off their left overs.
They accommodated us for a table of 7 and although it can be a bit loud, you can still talk to anyone in your party. But i would recommend getting a reservation so you don’t have to rely on luck like we did.
The prices might be a little higher than some of your typical sit down restaurants, but worth every penny.
Well worth a visit and we will return but maybe order a little less food.
Cocktails, Appetizers and mina course were all wonderful – the Feta Sousami and Kataifi Shrimp were both marvelous. Expresso martini with baklava topped off the night!
We’ll be back!
