We went to the Stone Bar Inn for a birthday celebration and it did not disappoint. The food was upscale and amazing. I ordered the crab cake and lamb chops while my husband got the ribs and steak. Best place for drinks ands apps or dinner plus dessert, on a date or celebrating a special occasion. We often go for bar social from 4-5 daily and enjoy the quiet, intimate atmosphere. The bar is small, with plenty of dining rooms seating, and the staff is friendly.

Service is king!! The food is right there as well. A unique place in the Poconos that’s serving up unique food offerings with superior quality. We had crab cakes that included lump crab on the side and the special pork chop. Both had a uniqueness but also cling to the roots these dishes came from. We also had the French onion soup. If you’re in a soup mood – don’t pass this up! Plenty of seating options from the quaint bar setting, the open tables, the booths, the booths in the back room and great outdoor seating. The cocktails are served with a special side car, like getting 2 for one. Well worth the hour drive!

We went here for dinner during my birthday trip to Poconos. All the staff we encountered were friendly and attentive. The cocktails were proper. The food was tasty, we had the Prime rib (which was very tender and seasoned and cooked at desired temperature) and colossal shrimp with pork belly (delicious but 1-2 pieces of the pork belly was all fat). This restaurant will be on my list anytime we go to the area.

We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant from start to finish. We sat at the bar while waiting for our table, and the drinks were fantastic—well-crafted and delicious. After a short wait, we were seated, and the service was top-notch—attentive and friendly without being overwhelming. The food was absolutely delicious, and both my wife and I had no complaints whatsoever. From the drinks to the meal, everything was perfect. I would definitely return every week and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great dining experience!

This spot in the Poconos is always busy, so make sure to grab a reservation. They do have a small bar area, but seating is limited. The staff is great at keeping things moving, even though the space is on the smaller side.
The food is usually fantastic, but the vegetable medley this time wasn’t up to par…seemed either frozen or served cold. That’s not typical here, so I’ll give them a pass on it.
