From start to finish, the experience was fantastic. The staff was genuinely friendly, warm, and welcoming, which immediately made a difference, especially on a holiday. The food was not just good, but absolutely delicious and clearly made with care and quality in mind. On Christmas Day, when finding a place to eat can be stressful and nearly impossible since almost everything is closed, they truly came through and made feeding myself easy, convenient, and worry-free. I’m incredibly grateful they were open and delivering such great service and food when it mattered most. I would highly recommend them to anyone, and especially to those who find themselves in a pinch on a holiday — they absolutely saved my Christmas.

How should I Start this. I’ve been to many different places all over California eati Chinese foods, from buffets to ala carta. I was visiting my husband who was working in crescent city ca. He enjoy cutting thru Grant pass Oregon thru Medford Oregon to Redding California. From Redding to my home is another 4 hours. Anywho it was getting dark one Tuesday evening November 25,2025. I searched for a Chinese place to dine before our long journey bck home. This King Wah Restaurant popped on my phone. Since it was on our way anyway. Story short. TELL ME WHY IVE ORDERED fried rice, chow mien, Szechuan beef n Mongolian beef. Why it is both dishes are the same with 5super thinly sliced beef n super tiny veggies that are cut for soup. Szechuan sauce is dark savory sweet n a hint of spicy. Super salty. Tastes like soy sauce, a lot of salt n garlic. Mongolian beef again super salty with no flavor. Each dish are about $15-$19 dollars. I btw, we were the ONLY PEOPLE IN THE WHOLE RESTAURANT my husband n I. I should have turn around n walk out the restaurant seeing how empty it was. I honestly think the restaurant is not own by Chinese becoz if it is, it would be ashamed. The cook definitely didn’t know his dishes n how to seasoned. Learned my lesson. Never ever eating Chinese foods in Medford Oregon again. I wish I had taken pictures of the dishes. I was too disappointed, eat what we can n left almost full plate of foods still on the table. I’m sure they remember that night. For a cook I’m very disappointed n disgusted but how little knowledge you know bout Chinese foods. Real Chinese foods are pride n joy. This particular Chinese restaurant is as fake as all the dishes.

The only good thing I have to say about this place is the waitress was a sweetheart. However, the food is the worst food I have ever tasted in my life. In no way is this Chinese food? And it gives the restaurant in Klamath Falls. I thought it would be like Klamath Falls. King walls, nothing near it. Klamath Falls is a 10. This is not even a one. I could not eat the food. It was so bad.

This place has never. been remodeled. It is on its last leg and reeks of death. It’s booths are patched with duck tape, the wall paper stained and the whole establishment in a state of decay. It’s long past a decent burial. On a positive note the mar far chicken was good. The rest tasted like saw dust and was barely .edible

Probably the worst “Chinese” food we’ve ever had. Snow peas and mushrooms in the first dish were raw, the chow mein noodles in the second weren’t fried at all, and the chicken was very questionably cooked(see second to last picture, teriyaki chicken was clear-grey and was very cold in the center). The vegetable spring roll appetizer waa okay as was the rice. The entrees however were absolutely awful. ALL of the soy sauce bottles seemed as if they’ve never been cleaned or sanitized. the walls are covered in stains/residue/leftover food from previous guests. Our waitress was very friendly and there was a small dog that roamed around (including the kitchen which I found odd but not the worst thing)

I pulled into the parking lot at 4:20 – even though I don’t drink alcohol. As I entered – wearing my house shoes and feeling underdressed – I was quickly comforted by the little dog that greeted me. He looked like a cross between a Daschund and one of those little fuzzy things in Star Wars.
Anyway, the food was Fire! It’s hard to imagine the “King Wah Appetizers” plate not being able to satisfy even the strong munchies.
Everyone was super friendly! Even the dog – after he warmed up to me, and I slipped him a little BBQ Pork.

And the Muzak station was spot on! Paul McCartney and Wings, Gary Wright – and I swear I heard a Chinese Lady singing INXS.

Came in at 4pm to find they didn’t have the buffet anymore amid Covid. Was met with a nice waiter and the food I ordered was yummy and hot (Peking pork, rice, egg flower soup). The lobby is generally quiet when I’ve come and I wonder how they stay open but the food speaks for itself as well as the friendly staff they hire!
