It wasn’t very crowded, but we had to wait 45+ min for our food, while others from both a smaller and larger party who came after us got theirs first. Food was decent, staff was ok as well. Great spot to watch a game, pretty good views of the TVs.

Update: has the steak and cheese sandwich which was delicious! However, my raw fries were greasey and undercooked. The replacement raw fries were hard. My companion had the Cuban which was an extremely small sandwich (looked like 2 sliders for a kids meal) but the side of green beans were delicious. Pictures added. Service was great.

The service was fast and friendly, Grace was our lovely waitress. She did a wonderful job. Bloomin Onion was awesome. I ordered the chicken Philly and raw fries and requested them cooked floppy. Loved them! My companion ordered shrimp and grits and he emptied the bowl. Other than great service and good food, the atmosphere was also awesome!! I truly enjoyed the music being played. It was a variety of 80s music. The TV’s had some sports and some shows but I truly enjoyed the music and it made the whole atmosphere and dining experience a pleasure. I’ve already been back

We all spoil eachother in this family. Today I decided to treat my Husband, and Ma to dinner at The Palms, and this neighborhood restaurant did not disappoint! The customer service was great, food we ordered was fresh and delicious! I ordered an oyster po boy, hubs ordered shrimp and grits, and ma got her favorite their fried seafood platter. If you visit Newberry stop by and check them out.

The outside looks great and inviting, very beautiful. The inside and the food was very disappointing to say the least. The place was not clean and the booths were torn and it was not setup in a good way. Both of the spoons we got for the soup had dried food on them, the food was not good. My wife and I had stomach issues for two days after our visit. The prices are very, very high for the food quality that is served here. We were told the long time chef was no longer working, and something or someone was definitely missing.

Ive been here just a couple times now. Service seems great along with the Atmosphere but for the pricing to me it dosent line up with the Quality of food. Maybe the Cook was having a few off days

Yikes! Dryest sandwich I’ve ever eaten. I tried taking it down with some extra mayo and honey mustard to no avail. Husband had the wings. He said the flavor was fine but they were so tiny – “one bite wings”.

Extensive menu. Sometimes too many offerings leads to a lower quality meal, but we enjoyed everything we ordered. Great drinks and nice staff.

It is a small restaurant, but you don’t feel crowded. Very calm, low light setting. Waitress was attentive. Food took awhile to come out, but it was good. I ordered the French dip w/ sweet potato fries and my son ordered the ½ lb patty melt w/ fries. Have had the philly cheese steak before and enjoyed it as well. Would return and recommend.

My last visit a while back, I got the crab cake appetizers and a side of mashed potatoes. They should have the cakes as a selection on their seafood menu. They are crispy on the outside and yummy and moist on the inside. Their Ribeye is awesome and they have a Palm Spring chicken breast with bacon mushrooms and cheese that WAS (but not now) better than Outback. This recent trip, the chicken was over cooked and chewy, If you want the mustard flavor, ask for dinner honey mustard . Their sweet potato fries tasted fresh served with apple butter. We ordered a “boomin onion” and it was served raw with gooey batter, the onion was hard. There was so much egg in the Palms Salad, i stopped eating. The croissant was stale and not served with butter. We couldnt order a drink at the bar while waiting for our table. In theory you could, but the server just started socializing with people instead of taking our order. It took about 25 mins for them to seat us, and an additional 45 min for them to bring the food. I told the the onion was raw so if our food was almost done she didn’t need to get another one. That was a big mistake. It was graduation time and a Friday but that is when you shine for visitors if you are organized and your staff is able to be multitaskers, but they didn’t shine very well tonight.

Kinda dumpy, not what Id classify as a real restaurant..food was sub par, atmosphere – there was oxygen, at least. Service was like a roadside diner, without the personality of one. Obviously we will never return. Not trying to be mean, just honest and save someone else the trip.
