On a calm Tuesday afternoon, my partner and I were looking for a nice filling lunch following a hike we just did. We found this place in Foster City and it was so good. It hit the spot just right and really has all of the Korean essentials you would want. Pricing isn’t too bad and the servers checked in with us just enough. It does not stand out too much but is a great Korean option in the city.

Overall, a very strong restaurant. Everything is spectacular. I would say their non tofu soups are usually my favorites.
The seafood pancake (extra crispy) was insanely good. Loved the original fried chicken. Their spicy gal bi tang has tender meat pieces.

The egg for tofu soup. Some restaurants don’t serve with an egg. This place not only does, you can choose to have it added from the kitchen. Otherwise, they crack the egg for you at the table. Makes you feel very welcomed.
Reasonable prices. Pretty big portions. Friendly servers.
S1 Beef short rib soup, with cellophane noodles, along with a bowl of rice, is enough to stretch into two meals.
T3 Chicken tofu soup… Avoid this if you dislike white meat.
A3 Vegetable pajeon, one of the best in the 650 area.
C8 Original popcorn chicken. A popular dish, especially kids like them a lot.

The service at this place is great. We were well attended and asked how everything was going. I said the pancake was a bit burnt and then without any hesitation, the staff said: “Let me get you a new one!” WOW, the second one was so much better!

Adorable Korean restaurant in the Marina. I don’t think I can even explain how delicious this food was. SO. GOOD. I will be coming back everyday until I die. The dolsot, japchae, veggie pancake, and tofu pot are one of this world. The staff was so incredibly nice and helpful, so kind to us. They worked very quickly, and so hard. The interior wasn’t outstanding, but the food completely made up for it. We had so many leftovers, from just 3 dishes! They also gave us a bunch of little appetizers for free, with free refills. Absolutely, jaw dropping, delicious! GO THERE!! ITS WORTH IT!!

I ordered Tofu bowl and found beef pieces inside it. I would definitely not recommend to people who follow strict vegetarian diet.

Omg their Korean food was fantastic. All the food we ordered was just amazing and yummy. We definitely love them and overate but no regrets
We’d love to come back again!
The place is too crowded, you need to be very patient to get an order or ask for a check

My friend was craving Korean, we ordered Gal Bi, marinated beef short ribs. Dae Ji Bul Go Gi, marinated spicy pork. Yook Gae Jang, spicy beef soup with vegetables and added dumpling. Clam tofu soup. The soups came with a tasty banchan combo. Great flavors and textures. Service was nice and efficient. You can choose your spice level on tofu soup. It was nice that the flavors were not too much sesame oil.

Our favorite Korean restaurant in the mid-peninsula and it’s a good place to bring kids, there’s boosters/highchairs & diaper changing table in the bathroom, and is relatively casual. The staff is incredibly friendly so we always feel really comfortable eating there. Our go-tos are the galbi tang soup (which has enough meat to feed two), soft tofu soups, mool nyangmeung (cold noodle soup) or stone pot bi bim bap. The small side dishes that come with your meal are yummy too!!!
