Food was great!! I loved the feel of the place, they played great music and had fun movies playing. Our waitress was amazing despite being the only one there at the time of our visit. She was proactive and sweet! I did a pick up order a week or two later as well, food was fresh and service was fast and easy! Strongly recommend!

I ordered the Kimchi ramen and they put so much of the cold kimchi inside the ramen it made it lukewarm. I ended up pulling all of the kimchi and huge chunks of green onions out and literally barely had noodles. My friends ramen had soggy pork and hard pork mixed in.

I’ve had this 7 times since Nov and sadly the other negative reviews are correct, so tonight’s take away will likely be my last. Food was pretty good the first 2 times we dined in! The 3rd time service was more bad than usual and my chicken Plain Jane ended up being pork, but we just ate it instead of waiting on a redo. The last 3 times were pick up orders and once I ordered with friends on Door Dash (got some wrong food). Anytime you get the Tokyo Chicken appetizer to go it seems like they don’t even drain the fried food, it’s like they dump it straight in the to go container so it’s swimming in grease and makes you sick to your stomach from all that extra grease on the food. Patronage was low every single time we’ve been here either empty or a couple tables yet service takes a while to get to you, the waitress is usually somewhere in back and they seem surprised to see people. Tonight I ordered in the ChowNow app and arrived about 10 minutes later, it said it would likely be a 10 minute wait. There were 4 guys waiting around and 3 more came in after me. A table of 4 who already had their food and a 2 top who was finished up sitting around. After about 10 minutes a lady came from the back and was shocked to see us. She took everyone’s name and ran to the back again. Another 30 minutes or so later we walked out with our food. Tried to order a tea to go but they don’t have to go cups. Got home nearby and the food was already cold, the ramen was actually what looked like angel hair pasta all stuck together like a brick and scorched on the top of the brick somehow? Regardless, it was the wrong dish supposed to be Plain Jane but was given Mary Jane. The kimchi potatoes were dry and undercooked, the pork belly wasn’t crisp it was cold hunks of jiggly fat. The side of accompanying sauce was missing and it was all tossed in maybe a tbsp of the sauce. The gyoza was ok. This place seems like it’s close to going out of business. Misolado arrived just in time.

We’ve been to IkaSan a few times when it first opened, the food has always been great. Enough to always bring us back throughout the time because admittedly the service does lack.
It’s been months (maybe even a year) since we last went but we recently went and in that time frame we had a kid and we were disappointed on few things.
The first is it’s not a very “kid/family friendly” restaurant. There are no kid options or kids cups. And if you go by their recommendation of the Plain Jane it’s a huge adult portion at normal pricing. Just disappointing because as I said we’ve gone here before and a shame the restaurant does not grow with you as you build a family.
The second was the serving, though the waitress was very nice and polite, she kept putting the hot food and glass drinks right within arms reach of our toddler so he kept grabbing them which can be dangerous. He did actually spill some soda on him when he grabbed my drink.
Lastly, the food. It’s meh. Nothing special to keep us coming back given everything else. I got the Birria Ramen and it’s was good, the broth had a nice spice level to it, but the meat was not very good. I ate around it which is disappointing since the protein is a big part of the pricing. The steamed dumplings were amazing though. I would probably do take out on just those alone.

The wife and I loved our food. It was fantastic! The service was a bit lax and wanting. The rap music was a bit louder than I would have liked.

My first time visiting Ika San Ramen. I arrived around 1130 and was greeted immediately by our outstanding server. She was great from start to finish sadly I didn’t get her name but she was the best. I ordered the Pork Belly steamed buns, and the spicy Miso Ramen and added Pork Belly to it. I was left speechless it was full of flavor and had a nice little kick to it perfect for a cold day. The Pork Belly buns were to die for full of flavor and I’m glad I got two orders of them. I highly recommend you giving this place a try. I will definitely be a regular

My wife and I came out to try this spot. It was our first visit here. We were seated quickly and our drink order was taken. We chose to sit outside since it was a beautiful breezy evening. We ordered sticky buns with chicken as an appetizer and they were fantastic. My wife got a chicken ramen and I got a beef ramen. The portion size was awesome. I was expecting to grab a cheeseburger burger later in the evening but that was impossible after eating all that. My wife couldn’t even finish her bowl. It was out of this world! The staff was incredible and fast. Super friendly and helpful. If I could make a suggestion…. Outside where we sat it looked a bit neglected. It looked like it could use a good powered wash cleaning. To add, the serving spoons they gave us still had the barcode labels on them (see photos.) It grossed my wife out. She refused to use it. It just made us feel like they didn’t pay attention to the fine details. It can go a long ways when the simplest of things are missed or overlooked. Makes me wonder what we didn’t see, if there was anything else. We will return, no doubt about that. The food is amazing. I would just hope that the team reads this and takes those observations into high consideration. Otherwise, it would have easily been a 5 star review.

This used to be one of my favorite ramen spots. The service was always consistent, quick, and smooth. On my most recent visit, someone on staff mentioned recognizing how often I come in, and we chatted briefly at the bar. After I ordered, they brought up the low reviews the restaurant had been getting and asked me to leave a positive one. It immediately put me in an uncomfortable position, like the quality of my food might depend on how I responded.
When my food arrived, they brought it up again, encouraging me to write a good review and include specific names. The experience made me uneasy, and now I’m dreading going back. What used to be a comfortable place for me now feels awkward, and I won’t be returning anytime
soon.

My husband and I go here every couple of months. The ramen, sake, and appetizers are great!! The restaurant always seems to be empty, which is crazy because of how good the food is and the prices are reasonable. One negative about this location, is the atmosphere. I love the anime theme, the music is always good, and all the hanging lights, but the ceiling lights are too bright!! It would give more of a “club” atmosphere if the lights are taken down a notch.
