My favorite food is ramen! Korean but I can’t find that in Ocean County! Finally talked hubby into trying ramen & I found this place for date night! This place nailed my expectations & beyond! The food so amazing! So fresh, delicious & worth every penny! BYOB & prices are budget friendly & portions that will fill your belly! The owner, wife & the new chef killed it! I can’t wait to go back! Happy to find my 1st go to ramen spot in Ocean County! Definitely has one of a kind VIBE! Makes you feel like you walked in off the street in NYC but cleaner 😉
11.7.25-owner mentioned they will be closed for 3 weeks due to renovations & upgrades! Even better things to look forward to! Can’t wait!

The BEST ramen you will have in the area! Chef Wayne and his wife are absolute gems. Slinging the absolute fire . Little did I know we actually knew each other. From the dumplings, to the bao buns (softer than a pillow) to the star of the show the ramen. I Ordered the jerk chicken and my wife ordered the special beef brisket ramen, both FIREEE literally and metaphorically will def be back.

I finally made it to the restaurant. The owner (Wayne) is so warm, accommodating and very personable. I knew after the many phone conversations he would be. His restaurant will be undergoing changes, so his hours are different each day. I called him prior to confirm he would be open, since the ride is over an hour away from me. He was gracious to open his restaurant and cook for me. He drove from New York (he said, “108 miles one way”), with a smile to accommodate me knowing I had been trying for months to dine at his restaurant. His food was delicious and well worth the wait! I started with Chef Jeannie’s Tao Chicken. The chicken with the sweet and spicy chili sauce had the perfect crunch and a slight kick to it. Each bite was delicious with the rice. There was a hint of butter after each bite, which was different and pleasing to my palate. I followed it with the curry oxtail ramen and it didn’t disappoint. I am part Japanese and grew up eating ramen, saimin, pho, udon, etc. This soup is one of the best ramen I have had. The combination of Caribbean/Japanese fusion is exquisite. The oxtail was so tender the meat fell off the bone. The soup was tasty; the curry flavor and spices were delicious and the soup had the perfect level of heat.
Thank you Chef Wayne for making my day!!!! Will definitely be dining there again!

Cannot recommend this place enough!!! The ramen is absolutely delicious my partner licked the bowl clean… TWICE. The oxtail bao buns were our fav this past time. Definitely get them when they’re on special!!
I always go for their tonkotsu and it’s always extremely flavorful. The eggs were cooked to perfection!
Chef Wayne as his team are nothing but kind and attentive. The owner had come over to us and chatted with us for a long time about how he started and gave us a little backstory:)
Best ramen, 10/10, can’t wait to be back:)

Today was my first visit to Vibe and Slurp. I seen it on TikTok. I was greeted by the owner who made us feel right at home. We were able to pick our own seat and sat down. The building is a smaller building so there wasn’t a lot of tables but there was enough and the spacing was fine. The owner came over and told us about the specials of the day. I ended up ordering a cucumber salad, 8 Thai chili wings, ramen mac and cheese, and my husband got a rice dish that I don’t know the name of.
Before I get into the food let’s talk service. The service was great. He checked up on us multiple times. He presented the dishes with poise and ease. We felt very welcome and comfortable. The chef (owner’s wife) explained to me how to reheat the meals. Both of them were very friendly and inviting.
The food was nothing less than phenomenal. The cucumber salad had a hint of wasabi and was very refreshing. The wings were large, juicy, fried, and very flavorful. I don’t normally like bone in but these have a great flavor and are my new favorites. My ramen mac and cheese was delicious! It is a limited-time thing so make sure you try it if it’s on the menu when you go. It was very cheesy and cute with the little flower on top. My husband’s dish, which we don’t know the name of was the chef’s special. It was a crispy chicken with scallions over a black truffle rice. I tried the chicken which was good I’m not a fan of truffle so I didn’t try the rice but, my husband would not stop saying mmm after every bite.
My only negative comment would be that they don’t take credit cards. They do have an atm inside of the building for you to use. When I told the owner I would be using a credit card he said there is a small fee to use the atm but he would take that fee off on the bill. So while it is a minor inconvenience it really wasn’t.
We really did enjoy our time trying out this new to us location. We will be back and I WILL be getting those wings again.
EDIT: upon review and the owner’s comment my information was incorrect. They do accept credit cards. The machine was down for our visit.

Everything we tried was great. The owner and his wife were working the location and gave us a genuine experience as well as the back story to the Ramen house’s beginning. We had the Oxtail Curry Ramen, the Karaage Chicken rice bowl, and the traditional pork Bao Buns. They run specials and use quality ingredients. It’s a fusion concept for the ramen and not exactly traditional but the Trinidadian/Island spin was unique and I look forward to coming back to try their other creations!
