if I could give this more than five stars, I would.
We were greeted enthusiastically as we walked in the door and the experience remained high level throughout. Excellent sushi recommendations, Beautiful plating and Exceptional taste. This very well may have taken a place of our very favorite local sushi restaurant.
Highly recommend the TNT roll as well as the monster roll… The salmon melts in your mouth like butter.
*** we almost passed it because The restaurant outdoor sign does not work on the building and it was dark … So glad we took the time to find it!

An amazing place hidden in a tiny strip. This spot was a little out of my way but absolutely worth the trip. I got a couple things and can’t wait to go back and try more.

Best sushi in the Smithfield/Carrollton area. They have a great crunchy spicy tuna, a huge variety of specialty rolls. My daughter is obsessed with the mango passion roll. The service is beyond kind, you feel like family when you step through that door. The gyoza and avocado salad are also great starters!

Service and atmosphere is excellent and I would recommend. My only down point is that they don’t have balanced portions of veggies in their dishes. I basically had a full onion in my hibachi dish and my mom as well in her veggie noodles. Aside from that everything tasted great and I enjoyed the experience

Not cheap, but you DEFINITELY get what you paid for, if not more. Read the menu carefully; I didn’t realize with my “make your own combination” option I would get miso soup & salad – I had to get a to-go box for 2/3 of my sushi plate! Beautiful atmosphere, wonderful staff. Lovely little hole-in-the-wall location!

I got the volcano box lunch special for about 14 dollars, it was awesome. It came with extras like goyza and even some California rolls which was surprising, and there was also some extra soup on the side which was included in the price. I was very satisfied with the service and food. If you’re having trouble finding the place, it’s right next to the Tropical Smoothie Cafe, I couldn’t see it until I walked up there. Thanks!

Pleasant service and great sushi. My other diners with better taste palettes than me said that the ginger tasted especially good, like it was made in-house which they don’t see often.
