I’ve been coming here for years, though only occasionally, and I’ve never had an issue until this visit. I usually order a side of turkey and fish, and the portions have always been reasonable.

This time, the turkey was only two very small pieces and mostly oil. The woman at the counter agreed it looked small, but the manager said that was the standard portion, which I know isn’t true based on past visits. The fish, however, came with three large pieces, which made the difference even more confusing.

I understand food costs are high, and as someone whose parents own an African market, I respect the business side. My issue isn’t the price—it’s fairness. If it was because they were close to closing (around 7pm), I would have appreciated that being explained instead of being told this is how it’s always portioned.

I want to continue supporting African-owned businesses, and I hope this was just an off night because I’ve always enjoyed the food here and would like to keep coming back.

Been visiting here for a few years and the food has remained amazing and tasteful. We live in south Jersey but will still make the trip to this restaurant.
They do cater and we used them for our super-bowl get together.
The only hang up I have with them is that the food takes some time…but it’s definitely worth the wait. That said, the last time we went there, which was Feb., 10, 2026, the food came out really fast and was delicious as usual.
I highly recommend this restaurant.

The appetizers puff puff was soft and fluffy and not oily, fish pie was also very delicious. The abula was fresh, delicious and a good quantity. Asorted meat option was soft and delicious; good portions and I will recommend.
The peppered ponmo is thin, quantity on the small side and very spicy nearly unbearable after having a few.

We actually came from Church on 12/21/25 to enjoy ourselves for end of the year treats with delicious African dishes. The place is roomy enough to accommodate at least 30 people, everyone said they enjoyed all the meals (e.g jollof rice, pounded yam, amala, egusi vegetable soup, efo riro, assorted meat, yam pourage with fresh fish, etc. All the staffs attended to us with professionalism, they are so friendly, good listeners, patient enough to attend to the large number of people that came. The service was so fast, no time wasted at all. In fact my people were so glad and impressed with them to the extent that they were collecting their contacts should in case they would need such service in future. Thank you for attending to us nicely. God bless you all. More sales in Jesus name.

I’m honestly disappointed. I ordered pounded yam and got home to find a ridiculously small portion-barely enough to feed a child, let alone an adult. I called the restaurant, and the man I spoke to casually said it was the last portion, so that’s what they gave me.

That’s unacceptable. If you don’t have enough, say so. Don’t just package scraps and hope your customers won’t notice until they’re home and it’s too late. I paid full price and got shortchanged. This kind of service is how you lose loyal customers. Do better.

Amazing place. I came for my friends birthday celebration and the food was delicious. The service is fast, the people are kind, and the atmosphere is great. I would recommend anyone to stop by and try the food for yourself. I enjoyed and I will definitely come back here again.

THE WORST Ewa Agoyin I’ve ever had! Just a bowl of tasteless and flavorless beans that has a burnt smell! I ordered it with a side of beef and this beef is far from tender as they advertised on their instagram! It’s hard and dry as a rock! DO NOT order it.

The food is great.. The service isn’t. The young guy working there was nice but not the girls. However, I enjoyed the food. The soup was flavorful and I would definitely recommend. But, the portion size for the soup was too small for the price.

Excellent customer service! The food is delivered fast and tasty. The restaurant is beautiful for dining in especially for small to medium groups. The quality of food is top notch!
The prices are also great especially for the small appetizers and main dishes.

My husband just brought home this Nigerian food and he was quite happy to know this place is not all that far from us. He was very happy with the taste of home, especially some of the delicacies. He did go out of the blue so didn’t order in advance. They make the order fresh so he had to wait an hour (and the place was cold inside) but he said it was worth the wait. I think he got a little carried away on his first visit, considering the bounty he brought home!
