Upon first entering the restaurant, it’s a little weird because you are basically standing in the kitchen, right inside the door, but we had several employees tell us to find any seat we liked. We initially sat in the far corner booth, but the tabletop wobbled when we sat down, and one of the waitresses joked that everyone new sits there and immediately moves to another booth. Regardless of the initial oddities, our server was very friendly and attentive, while not be annoying; the food was excellent, restaurant was clean and well lit, and restroom was clean and functioned well. We enjoyed the Italian chicken breast dinner, and the steak and shrimp dinner. Both were great! The salad was fresh with crisp veggies. The server brought us our ticket right away, and we paid at the cash register right at the door. Using a credit card adds an extra fee to the total, so we recommend you pay with cash.

First time at this restaurant. We went on a Friday night got there, waited for a table (we felt we were in the way there’s not any place good to stand). I watched employees stand around, owners as well not helping employees or mingle with guests, or even go around asking for refills. The waitresses took two plates out at a time instead of having someone helping them out. The food doesnt sit under a food warmer so I watched plates sit there getting cold. The girl at the register had no personality, didn’t smile, or didn’t talk. The owners/managers don’t seem to care. The salad for dinner was the best part of my meal. I ordered chicken Alfredo, and the sauce had no taste it was like water, the toast tasted like they dropped a bottle of garlic salt on it. My meal was warm and was able to stick my finger in the sauce without it feeling hot or getting burned. My boyfriend ordered the hamburger steak meal, and it came to the table luke warm. I would recommend doing a reservation no matter what time you go in.
One suggestion that really needs addressed is the owners/managers, waitstaff stand around instead of using teamwork.

This place is phenomenal. Highly recommend the hot beef, steak and shrimp, salads, and cheese sticks. They are consistently great. Prices are very reasonable too.

It was obvious this small town restaurant was the Hub of the city. It was completely full and everyone knew each other and visited and talked. The spinach salad I ordered was excellent!

Good food at a good price
We were coming from the Loess Bluffs Wildlife Refuge.
We did come in the late afternoon, so the location was not busy.
The staff that we encountered was efficient, but not cheerful, but not rude either.
The atmosphere was not overly welcoming and dim lighting. It was a cloudy day, so maybe they rely on sunshine to help out?
The location was clean and restrooms were clean, with no baby changing station in the women’s room.
We didn’t have to wait long at all and our food came out delicious.
There are many menu items that looked good!

Incredibly friendly. Our waitress was phenomenal! We had a large group of teenage girls plus 8 adults. She was funny and patient, with a great sense of humor.
The food was great, everyone was pleased. If I’m ever in the area again I would definitely go back!
