Terrible customer service. Note to the manager at this location I spoke to tonight – if you don’t actually put the call on hold, I can hear everything you and your co-workers are saying.

I ordered delivery and did not get some of the items I ordered. I call the main Papa John’s customer service number, and they called this store before calling me back and telling me that the store said I need to call them personally to get a refund or credit. I called this store and pressed the manager’s extension like I was instructed, and they asked if I would hold for a moment. They kept me on the line for 20 minutes, so I hung up and called again. Then, I was able to talk to someone. The manager cut me off repeatedly and when I politely tried to explain, she was very dismissive. Then I believe she thought she put me on hold or something, and her and the other employees there started talking about how they should just hang up on and ignore me. Incredibly rude and unprofessional. They ended up saying that next time I order I have to call this store and tell them that there are items I’m being credited and I have to just hope they believe me and give them to me?

Go to one on Buford instead. Pizza is over sauced, it’s never cut right, and toppings are thrown on. They do greet you when you walk in the door but make sure you ask for everything you need while they’re grabbing your pizza because they just hand you the box and walk off.

The crust was so thick and they barely put ingredients on it. Half of the pizza was empty lol. It was supposed to be 10 slices but they did 8. I ordered 3 extra garlic sauce. Normally they also include 1 with the pizza. They were supposed to send 4 but they did not send extra one. Awful experience. Thank you

Whoever this young lady is, she should be fired or documented for the way she treats guests. Extremely rude and unprofessional for no apparent reason. If you don’t like you’re job sweetheart you can just quit. But don’t take your anger out on people who keep the lights on and business running.

Disappointing Experience with Papa John’s Decatur

I’ve had enough with the poor service at the Papa John’s on N. Druid Hills. On multiple occasions, I’ve ordered through DoorDash, and it seems there’s a persistent disconnect between the restaurant and the delivery service. My most recent order was particularly frustrating.

I paid extra for several sauces, but they were missing when the pizza arrived. When I contacted the store, the response was shockingly dismissive. Instead of addressing the oversight or taking responsibility, they brushed it off as a simple refund. That’s not the point! It’s not just about getting my money back – it’s about getting what I ordered.

This isn’t the first time I’ve had issues with missing items, and the lack of accountability is maddening. It feels like they don’t value their customers or take their orders seriously. I understand mistakes can happen, but the repeated occurrences and then the cavalier attitude when addressing them are unacceptable.

I won’t be returning to this location anytime soon. If they can’t even get a simple order right and treat customers with respect, I’ll take my business elsewhere. Save yourself the frustration and find a place that delivers on both food and service.

I’m a delivery driver and stopped picking up orders from this location for months because their service was very slow, bad to no customer service skills, and apparent lack of organization. I believe that people, businesses can be redeemed so when I received a notification to pick up an order here, I kept an open mind and gave them another shot. Upon arrival, I was not greeted, there was a young girl at the front who saw me but acted as if I was invisible. She held conversations with other employees and on her phone for some minutes and finally when she stopped by the register, I politely said that I was picking up an order. She nastily said, “It ain’t ready yet!” She did not even check or provide when it might be ready. Others came after me and received their orders. After about 15 minutes, I asked another employee about the status(normal) and she said it wasn’t ready, again without checking. She mentioned to the girl I first encountered that I asked about the order and the girl went on a negative rant about me to her as if I could not hear her. At this point, I deemed this to not be worth my time, politely made my exit, unassigned myself from this order and reported it to the delivery platform. Someone seriously needs to monitor the activity at this location and there needs to be some serious customer service training. They need to be told the importance of customer service whether the customer is in the store or the extension of the customer(driver) is in the store for without customers, they is no work, no need for employees, and eventually a store shut down and people who depended on their jobs may be out on the streets. In business, it is never acceptable to be rude, ignore customers, provide horrible service and pretend we do not matter. If the rude girl at this store does not like her job, I suggest her to get a remote job with NO customer interaction, then she can be on her phone and rant all day long in private. I will alert all the drivers I know to refrain from picking up orders from this location. Owners, are you there?

The customer service experience I encountered was less than satisfactory due to the presence of teenage employees who appeared to be unaware of the situation. Despite acknowledging the busy environment and resulting delays, I was promised my order within seven minutes, yet an hour later it had not been fulfilled. Furthermore, the employees displayed rudeness by raising their voices at me, despite my patient demeanor. Unacceptable.

Rachel and Caleb are always looking out for me. I order on the app and it is ready quicker than the estimate, but they have such positive energy, they keep whipping out pizzas, while we all laugh it up. Oh yeah, the pizza is consistently perfect!

I’m so sick of this place, mind u I held hope considering this was my first place of employment at 14 and I still had better customer service at that young. I’ve filed a complaint before about missing items, received a coupon and STILL the order was wrong. Even all that said, I still wanna order from them because I actually like the food and guess what today the order was over 45 minutes late when I called to ask an update on the status of it I was told there’s nothing they can do. it’s out of their hands, DoorDash, or has it reached out to them instead after I already had reached out to them and have received no response we still had to go pick up the order so the coupon ““ that their website offered for free delivery really amounted to nothing because we still had to pick it up. This will be my last time. Thanks a lot.

Pizza was good—cooked well, not too doughy, but not overcooked. Pizza was cheesy and flavorful with not too much sauce. I also enjoyed the chicken parmesan bites and oreo bites. Not sure if I would order the oreo bites again but they were decent. I would definitely get the chicken parmesan bites. They were great with the pizza sauce!
